Cheers Alfie, I must’ve half read it and made an assumption . . . a wrong assumption that had doggedly stuck with me until you pointed me to the path of righteousness.
I’d have estimated a lot lower if I’d understood the poll in the first instance.
Good job I wasn’t playing for prize money eh?
Thanks again.
I'm rehashing an old debate I had with someone above, and ultimately I think both interpretations make a sort of sense, but I think one point more than second place gets you second place, if you want to win the league you need to be aiming for one point more than first place.

Wouldn't want to be a Gooner looking at them City, Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton fixtures right now. On current form you could see them dropping points in all of them and the season becoming not just a bit of damp squib but an all-time iconic collapse.
Devon Loch says hi Arsenal.

Goes without saying, but the next 10 days up to the Leeds game for us are absolutely massive. We play 4, they play 2 (before the game at Newcastle).

So by the end of the Leeds game, 4 wins means we are AT LEAST4 points ahead (assuming they beat Chelsea) on level games, with them going to St James' and only having 3 games left after that.

Saying that, a draw tonight is not the end of the world. Takes it out of their hands and we are still in the driving seat. It's basically a must not lose game. And I think we will beat them convincingly in the end, with some nervy moments.

If you can't enjoy the jeopardy of a game like tonight, youre watching the wrong sport!

Just posting title odds now to see how the result tonight affects them.
City - 1/4
Arsenal - 10/3
