It appears the media in general are dismissing the possibilty of the Goons dropping points against the Toffee's and concentrating on how dangerous West Ham will be for us , this is an Everton side with the most clean sheets this season coached by an astute manager in Dyche and who have shown some decent recent form to get away from the threat of relegation.
We are playing a team who we have beaten 13 out of the last 16 meetings and have lost 5 of the last 6 games with a manager who is leaving the club , the desperation of the media for a Goons title win is startling , really hope we disappoint them on Sunday , no doubt there will be drama but if we cannot beat West Ham at home to win the league then we do not deserve it.

It's always the same isn't it with the media morons, 3 points already given to Arsenal obviously, but City hmmmm West Ham at home not at all easy, they could slip up. Like you say we'll probably make a dogs dinner of it on Sunday and there will be undoubtable drama along the way, but Arsenal also might find the pressure hard to take

You can guarantee West Ham will score a worldy/30 yarder in the top corner and we will be chasing the game , i am just glad the club provide defribulators in the ground now , they could come in handy on Sunday

I wouldn't read into it too much. Media is always going to try and create some suspense, makes for much more entertaining television than saying it's a done deal.

Also I don't think it's an easy fixture at all with what is on the line. The idea of creating history with 4 consecutive league titles is going to create some serious pressure. Obviously still back us to win but it's not like we're playing Sheffield United on a midseason afternoon. Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen, and Antonio are all quality players.

We don’t start all seasons slowly at all. We start virtually every season strongly, sometimes exceptionally so. Our form nearly always drops off in the late autumn/early winter, before recovering in the new year.

We won eight of our first nine PL games this season. Over the course of a season that equates to 101 points!
Not this year we didnt bud. We won our first 6 then lost to Wolves and Arsenal after Rodri got suspended. But your point is still valid.
