I stand by my statement of a few months back that nobody will end up within 10 points of City. For all the disappointment of the last 3 games, it’s still 3 unbeaten against ‘top’ clubs.
Liverpool will end up closest but they’re also abysmal defensively and made unbelievably hard work if it against Fulham…..they’ll drop a tonne of points over the next 2 months along with Arsenal.
The comments after todays game are mental.
It was a great game of football, unluckily for us our efforts hit the woodwork whereas theirs went in.
Should've been clear but we weren't.
Some odd decisions which are not down to luck, was it first yellow went to Rodri?
Spuds kicking ball away for that free kick first half, that is automatic yellow, not given.
Spuds player feigning injury hoping we kick it out, jumps up when we are in their box and promptly goes down when a corner given.
Haaland did tremendous to ride a foul, stay up and play Jack through and then it was pulled back, terrible refereeing.
How many times were Spuds and us adjudged to be offside but allowed to play on until the move fizzled out. The one time it might have mattered and the Ref stops the game!
Don't forget, a similar thing happened against the Dippers late on last week where we were denied a breakaway!
There has been a lot of iffy decisions in these games we have dropped points in but, we are still only 3 of the top.
To put it into perspective, if Arse hadn't got lucky with that shitty deflected goal against us and the game finished 0 - 0 we would be top tonight.
