A storm of Arsenal nonsense incoming in the media

Amazing young team
Learned the lessons of last season
Strengthened the spine
Rice is better than Rodri
Arteta is Pep 2.0
Blah blah blah

They’re a good team no doubt, probably finish 2nd again but they’re unproven and beating a poor dippers team and battering a toothless West Ham only gets you 6 points

Arsenal favourites for me. They always win the league around Christmas! The dips normally once in every 30 seasons or so or more aptly once in a red celestial cycle. Next one due in 2054. So yea Arsenal slight favourites to claim back to back Christmas/jan/feb leagues.

The last two results suggest they have a real chance this year. I for one am not writing them off and a three horse race might suit them. Their visit to the Ethihad may end up being season defining for them.

People who watched the games between Arsenal and Liverpool should have seen that Arsenal have a better, more organised team than Liverpool. Liverpool are very dependent on energy (when they are at it, they are not easy to beat, though). Factors like Klopp and recent history have prejudiced fans in favour of Liverpool and against Arsenal.

History doesn't play on the pitch, teams do. Still, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal could finish the season strongly. That has been a problem under Arteta and previous managers. I think that Arsenal may go top at some point, but could they stay there? I doubt it. Will be interesting.

What's are record at spurs in the league what's our record at Anfield in the league!? Once you check that it ain't rubbish
We've lost 2 of our last 5 games at Anfield.

Our play (and if they were reffed properly) probably deserved 4 wins and a draw, but even up against it, we've not been too bad.

Thankfully we've beaten the curse at Spurs. There can be no explanation for scoring with our 101st shot, than a witch putting some kind of "you will shoot 100 times, but never score" hex on us ;)

You said we had to win those games. We don’t have to win specific games. We need a certain number of points from all remaining games.

Just been looking at the fixtures and Liverpool play Luton on Wednesday the 21st of February. Anyone know why as it seems to be a free week? Apart from our re-arranged game against Brentford.

Can tell we're on the march reading the toxicity on Social Media yesterday. . Scousers and Rags in their droves showing a picture of a half empty family stand. Proper clutching at straws. I noticed a couple of emptys in Colin Bell stand 3rd tier but nothing drastic. We all now it was sold out a couple of weeks back but we always get late returns.
Yup, you know you are a juggernaut when people are desperate to find anything to hold over our heads. It says more about them than us.

It’s the game they were scheduled to play on the weekend of the Carabao Cup final. Been brought forward a few days.
We’ll have played the same number of games as them following our game at Bournemouth.

Big problem for me was not putting away a poor dipper team.... that one really hurt..we were so wasteful. Also at the Arse...couldn't take a chance. We need our big players to actually score in big games!!!
