Liverpool have got Arsenal in the FA Cup. Liverpool have got 2 games in the Carabao Cup semi-final. And the Carabao Cup final. Liverpool will probably go all the way to the final of the Thursday night cup. They will start getting a fixture pile up.
They are having a PEDs on season. Next season they will be off them and shit again. This season they are our main challengers. The game at anfield will be huge

When you consider that De Bruyne aka our best player has played 20 minutes of football all season, a player who is crucial to our system in Stones has barely featured and our 3 losses have all come when Rodri who many consider to be our most important player was suspended, there is a lot of cause for optimism.

Despite our inconsistency, if we win at home against the team who are bottom of the league on Saturday we will go ahead of Arsenal on goal difference and we'll only be 2 points behind Liverpool having played the same number of games as both. They must be kicking themselves that they haven't built up a bigger lead especially as they know Haaland and more importantly KDB will be back soon.

We'll need to improve in the second half of the season but I'm just glad we're still in with a shout.

Yep. Give the stiffs and the kids a run out against Huddersfield. Give the likes of Rodri, Bernardo, Phil, Julian and Eddy a bit of a rest. We should still be able to get past the Terriers. But even if we don't, big deal. Bigger fish to fry.
Where's the need - we'll have just four games in January if we beat Huddersfield.

Our winter break is scheduled for the game after Newcastle, so may as well go for it. May as well retain the whole treble ;)

Rodri, in particular, has looked totally shattered this last few weeks. And consequently, his performances have, by his ludicrous standards, suffered. We can't keep playing him week in, week out.

KDB who before his injury is one of the top five players in the world and our best player
Likewise re Haaland also top five in the world and also Jonny Stones who is in our top five best players and improves everyone in our defence
Not forgetting Doku who has had an impressive start to his City career
We’ve missed some big players and had our blip for this season and will push on and claim what’s ours the future is most certainly blue

I agree partly - but it's three games in the next month. He's missed two in December already, so it's not been that busy for him recently.

We have sunk to the level of the Dippers and Goons this season ,Pep has set the bar high over his tenure and we havent met that level yet this season , but we will from January onwards , the dreamers and pretenders will fall away over the next few months .
None of our supposed challengers have shown the consistency to put a winning run together , but we know what our squad is capable of and prove it every year.
