What a week for City. First the world club championship, then a return to form in the league, then Spurs go spursy, and Arsenal start their customary meltdown early.
We have every chance now, don‘t blow it guys!
I like your confidence. But we still need Liverpool to mess up. And they only way we might be able to take points off them is by beating them at their soulless dump of a ground filled with Britain's worst citizens who can only win games by attacking team coaches (Yes Liverpool we are talking about you).

We need a good January and hopefully beat Brentford when we can as that is our catch up game we need to play at somepoint.

When you consider that De Bruyne aka our best player has played 20 minutes of football all season, a player who is crucial to our system in Stones has barely featured and our 3 losses have all come when Rodri who many consider to be our most important player was suspended, there is a lot of cause for optimism.

Despite our inconsistency, if we win at home against the team who are bottom of the league on Saturday we will go ahead of Arsenal on goal difference and we'll only be 2 points behind Liverpool having played the same number of games as both. They must be kicking themselves that they haven't built up a bigger lead especially as they know Haaland and more importantly KDB will be back soon.

We'll need to improve in the second half of the season but I'm just glad we're still in with a shout.
Stop posting sensible!

It's a funny old season. No team has been consistently good , including City. Maybe the workload of the past few years is affecting everybody. It's not going to get any better, though, so expect more performance drops in the future.

I still think Liverpool will be the team to beat. They are 12 months into their latest PED cycle after the World Cup, with another twelve months to go. Arsenal will be Arsey, Spurs will be Spursey. Newcastle aren't consistently good enough yet and Villa will drop off. United are just as crap in their new era as they have been in their previous.

I reckon we beat Liverpool by one point again on the last day. Sweet.

Been a weird year in club football, not only in the prem but across all the major leagues. Was watching the match with my old man yesterday and we were trying to figure out why all the top clubs seem to be struggling. But, the title is there for the taking if we're being honest. We've frusrtratingly choked away about a dozen pionts and are still within striking distance. A bit of luck and we'd be running away with the title.

Those drawn games cost us 8 points alone.

The Bus Wrecker one would have us 3 points better off against their total. We would now have 39pts to their 41pts with a game in hand.

In every one of those games we were the better team but midfield and defensive frailties cost us dear. If we sort that out we can go on to win the four in a row.
