All day long an Arsenal win. A draw a distant second.

There isn't a big difference between a draw and an Arsenal win. I'd be happy with both. Arsenal shouldn't be underestimated. They are close to the top despite the poor form of their forwards. If these regain form, they may win many games.

A draw or an Arsenal win change little regarding what we have to do: win as many games as possible and avoid a defeat at Anfield. An win may inspire Arsenal and make it a 3-horse title hunt.
I wouldn't be upset if Liverpool won. The expectations will go through the roof and that's never a good thing for a relatively new and insufficiently experienced team. I'd be very surprised if they didn't have a bad run of results, especially after our game with them. Things can change quickly.

Absolutely need an Arsenal win.

A draw would be OK for us but a Liverpool win would be very bad and give them the confidence to go on a long run IMHO.

Probably their hardest remaining fixture given they’re at home v City.

Yeah that's my thinking, it's not over if the dippers win but it gives them alot of confidence and makes them favourites imo.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but Spurs with a full squad back by May will have a big say on this title race as they push for a top four spot.

20th April Home vs City
27th April Home vs Arsenal
4th May Away vs Liverpool

They need results to not drop out the CL spots, Villa will still be around and perhaps by then it is tight enough for a couple others to try get in.

It makes a big difference. A draw means we have to win at Anfield to overtake them, an Arsenal win means a draw there is enough.

And that's just the pure mathematics of it, never mind momentum, psychological strength etc.

Yeah I think it’s a tough argument to pretend otherwise.

Worth pointing out that our visit to Tottenham is on FA Cup SF weekend. Should we be involved at Wembley, we may very likely end up going to Spurs during the final midweek of the season.
If that’s how things pan out, the importance of that game for both teams could potentially be frighteningly huge!

Nobody should want any other result than for Liverpool to drop 3 points.

Don't get me wrong, I will by no means be distraught with a draw. Will welcome it if it happens.

But with a better goal difference they will stay top even if we win our games in hand, till we meet at their place, so for that reason mostly (and a few others too) I want an Arsenal win. Whereas after an Arsenal win, we still jump ahead of them if we win out games.
