I think Rodri was being quite astute not talking just about the games top players are expected to play but matches now lasting maybe 100 minutes instead of 90. No idea how it’ll play out but more injuries likely.

Reading that post match and other threads you'd think the world had ended and we were fighting relegation. We're top of the fuckin league still.
Yep I forgot about the game 30mins after it finished! We 7 games in and we usually have a slow start and we still top..
By the way, don’t take this the wrong way but from a commercial point of view, City turning the EPL into a Bayern dominated Bundesliga is unhelpful, as the EPL could become less interesting and for all the loss of revenue that might entail. PGMOL is basically the ultra arm of the EPL. It doesn’t matter how good you are, you’re not winning it this season. You heard it here first. Bookmark this because future events will prove me right.
