Doesn’t sound right to me.

It’s about right.

City are about 2/5 to beat Tottenham and 1/10 to beat West Ham. That would be a 0.54/1 double. Or a 54% chance.

Add on 5% because we could still win the league without winning those two games and you’ve got OPTAs 59% chance.

Just scanned through the Spurs forum. They PASSIONATELY want to lose against us. Comments include "showing up in City shirts." "half and half scarves," "giving away a quick penalty to calm everyone's nerves," "Ange must be sacked if we don't lose 0-6."

I am glad they see the bigger picture, but the problem is their players will be looking forward to their Cup final...
My Spurs fan husband has been sending me screen shots all day. (He hates Arsenal but because we’re American it’s not as ingrained as most fans). The posts are hysterical.

I'm confident against Spurs for two reasons, firstly the way we have been playing recently we seem to be in our usual title run in groove where everyone is fully focused and playing beautiful football with a sense of invincibility, secondly we break the hodoo with win in the FA cup so that should help as well.

The players won't think that... but the mood of the supporters will filter through to them as they're only human and all it takes is a 5% drop off in their effort and we'll stamp on their throat

A Villa win tomorrow would be huge. If their CL chances are snuffed out it could make all the difference in the mood in the stands and on the pitch
