Hoping for an arsenal win today
Arsenal won't challenge for anything. We are doing better than last season after 21 games: 46 pts vs 45 pts.
And we have been without Kevin for 5-6 months, Stones 4-5 months, Haaland 2 months, Rodri missed 3 games through suspension, which we lost...The rumour that our summer transfers were bad is greatly exaggerated.
We are now on 4 consecutive wins in the league and 8 in all competitions. By the time we play at Anfield, we could be on 9-10 consecutive wins in the league (won't be easy, though!).
Think it will go to the wire.
If Arsenal beat Liverpool, they will challenge, too.
Context pal. It is irrelevant, and pointless, to the context of this discussion (it's how life works).
To you maybe. Not to what I said though. The context is the title race, not the race to be top after the game at Anfield.
If they lose by a big margin , they could end up behind VillaArsenal won't challenge for anything.
Don't have it in the..
Will collapse again
Knowing the global coverage (and money) that it will generate, the whole of the premier league machine will be 100% behind a "Klopp romantic fairytale" outcome this season, backed by a relentless leeching media narrative in support of same.Still think the dippers win it unfortunately
Teatime. The title is in our hands. That all you can ask for at this point in the season. There will be blowouts and surprise results.
At this point, even a draw is a bad result!
Liverpool are clearly the favorites.
They are ahead.
They have only lost 1 game this season.
They have superior goal difference.
They play their big challengers at home.
Klopp has announced he’s leaving, so they have an even bigger PGMOL advantage.
Everyone can talk up City until they are blue in the face, but the fact remains that Liverpool have all the advantages this year and even though the pundits say it’s City’s to lose because we often go on a run at this time of the year, past performance is never a predictor of future results.
We gave it all to do, and even with games in hand, we might be 8 points behind by dinner time tonight, with a banana skin match away on Monday night!
There’s nothing to say we can’t win it all, but the stats don’t lie…we are behind, 4 in a row has never been done, we have plenty of big games and plenty of 10 man defences to break down between here and there.
Onwards…
Dinner time in São Paulo, Brazil! ;-PTeatime.

4 in a throw has never been done because there's never been a team as good as city if it was a level playing field we would walk it.The title is in our hands. That all you can ask for at this point in the season. There will be blowouts and surprise results.

We still have it all to do, including still having to win the two games in hand! Even with the games in hand, we might be 8 points behind by dinner time tonight, with a banana skin match away on Monday night!

Too early to make any predictions IMO of note , bookies have us as favourites and again so what one might say.The title is in our hands. That all you can ask for at this point in the season. There will be blowouts and surprise results.

A draw would do just as niceHoping for an arsenal win today
A win at Klanfield wouldn't go amiss either…..Too early to make any predictions IMO of note , bookies have us as favourites and again so what one might say.
If anybody can spoil the Liverpool orlay its City and currently we are well placed to do it.
Injuries will play a key roll they usually do especially to key players a number of twists and turns with surprise results to come no doubt impacting the top echelon.
A draw will do. It's usually the accumulation of too many draws which kills their title charge.Arsenal win please. Very few, currently capable of taking maximum points from Liverpool in this league.
Arsenal are more liable to drop points against weaker opposition.
Especially so, as we also still play Arsenal at our place and that will factor more dropped points for them.

I'd settle for that
Why? What evidence points to them having a better second half to a season than us?
