You’ve conspicuously not answered the question.I think pre game they would have looked at a point being pragmatic - but obviously would go for the win...tbf they did, they just couldn't score more in the first half - one of those games for them - they will take a point and move on - we have Spurs away as well which is a graveyard for us in the League
And Dick Van Dyck got nothing for the same thing as Rodri’s red card vs Forest.Rodri missed 3 league games, one at Villa for 5 yellows.
All being said, we couldn't have expected to be in a better position after this weekend. Especially with Liverpool dropping points against a team of mid table, wannabe cunts.Of course it has relevance. If you are saying (correctly) that dippers/tarquins are going to drop points based on the fact that they have done so in 9 games then it stands to reason by your logic that we are also going to drop points because we've already done so in 10 games. It's how we buck that trend that will be the winning, or losing of the league
I'm confused lads, I thought after the Arsenal match City were done and had blown the title, with maybe an FA Cup as consolation? Now you're going to win it
One match at a time. Someone will blink first. City know what to do and can go on autopilot if they remember the settings but best not think too far ahead and just take it game by game
Someone will blink first.
That's because it didn't actually happen, not seen it anywhere apart from posted on here. And Dick Van Dyck got nothing for the same thing as Rodri’s red card vs Forest.
How funny if our hated neighbours also take points off Arsenal and we win the league! All being said, we couldn't have expected to be in a better position after this weekend. Especially with Liverpool dropping points against a team of mid table, wannabe cunts.
Ill get some hate but I genuinely think we've been the best team this season (Fewest conceded, best gd).
Shit, we're 20 points behind Arse and Dippers! No need now. If you consider that the only way it’s realistically possible for us to win the league is if we win all 7 remaining matches, in such a scenario it is actually mathematically impossible for us to finish on the same points as anyone. We are extremely unlikely to win or lose the league on goal difference now. GD matters hugely for Arsenal and Liverpool, but for us it’s now little concern. We either finish on more points than them, or less. Unlikely to be level.
We need to turn that little stat around as I’d be extremely surprised if he plays any part against Luton
Nice easy one, that. Brentford away last season.Got me thinking when was the last time he didn’t start a league game he was available for?
You know the answer. What is it about Everton that people keep thinking there is to fear, for Liverpool?
That's the tough one isnt it ? but when the chips are down and titles on the line I fancy our full strength side against them. Walker will hopefully be back then to take care of Son.The spurs game will fuck us.
And Ben White will go down holding his head.
What a shithouse!
and by “us”, you mean? The spurs game will fuck us.

Good point, the Chelsea results were painful. Hoping we manage to perform a miracle and get 3 points at spurs, if we manage that anything could happen! The points haul against the better sides isn’t great but the killer results for me are the Crystal Palace draw at home after they had almost accepted a 2-0 defeat and the two draws against a woeful Chelsea. We are still in it though which will be very worrying for both Arsenal and Liverpool. They will know they can’t afford a slip up !
You know the answer.
Just like we used to fight and get the odd draw against the Rags when we were shit and they were the best.
If anything they'll kick fuck out of 'em.
