Yeah agree they do get over emotional too often which will hopefully see them mentally run out of steam at some point but tbf they’re pretty near the finishing line now.

I think they’ve shown they do have a backbone this season. Bounced back from two piss poor defeats at xmas and went on a great run, showed a different side to their game to frustrate the fuck out of us at our place and they’ve won two potentially tricky games since being written off after the Villa and Bayern defeats.

I still don't think writing off Liverpool - as has been the case in many news stories and on here - is particularly wise, given there are 4 games to go, but i understand that having 2 title rivals does change the picture somewhat.

i'm never convinced by anything until maths says so, especially given some of our title wins in the last decade or so!!

Could be a very important weekend. Decisive? A Spurs win and we can go 2 points clear and a game in hand with a win v Forest. If that happens, we will have one hand on it in my opinion.
