If arsenal lose on sunday and we win the bookies will be falling over themselves to pay out early on city winning the league

Spurs will have to score 3 goals to get anything from arsenal! Arsenal will sit back let spurs play there high line then hit them with pace! Spurs just have to be clinical

the first half against chelsea was actually quite even against arsenal except chelsea couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo, wolves had their chances also, i think both teams are absolutely capable of winning that game and it will depend on which one is the most clinical tbf.

Spurs 0 Arsenal 1 - Arsenal 9 goals up on us
Arsenal 3 Bournemouth 0 - Arsenal 12 goals up on us
Rags 1 Arsenal 2 - Arsenal 13 goals up on us
Arsenal 3 Everton 0 - Arsenal 16 goals up on us

Forest 0 City 4 - Arsenal 12 goals up on us
City 5 Wolves 0 - Arsenal 7 goals up on us
Fulham 0 City 3 - Arsenal 4 goals up on us
Spurs 1 City 1 - Arsenal 4 goals up on us
City 5 West Ham 0 - City win title by a GOAL! - 90th minute West Ham own goal.

What a difference 20 minutes make.
You said that if Arsenal beat Spurs than you think they will win it.

If Arsenal can beat Spurs in Sunday according to quite a few posters (definitely a good possibility) then there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't beat them.

Forget our record against them on their patch as we will be putting everything into retaining our title with no distractions whatsoever. With a fully fit squad (hopefully) we know what we have to do.

Yo Trent!
It's why his comments (which he's nicked from moron teenage armchair fans in the main) irritated me.

A Liverpool fan has no comprehension of what it felt like to be the laughing stock of football for years whilt your arrogant neighbours won everything. They have never experienced relegation. Never known the genuine fear that your club was finished. They could never experince joy like the Aguero moment or Istanbul where you've seen your club rise from the dead, beyond your wildest dreams.

Liverpool are a club with plenty of fans and some great past teams. But that's it. They aren't fucking "special" in any way apart from in the minds of some of their modern day glory hunters.

This doesn't mean "more" to most of them. They don't even go to games. It means less.

have no trust in these London rivalries, quite often they shamelessly lie down to each other. look at Chelsea in the 3 games vs City this season and what they did vs Arsenal. night and day level of fighting...

hope Postecoglou will try to use this game to build momentum with a good result for their CL place fight vs Villa.
if they wanna be in CL next season they cannot lose at home to Arse.
if they lose hope they wont make CL in the rest of the decade.
time to step forward for Son and maybe do what he always does vs City...

also Spurs had no games since 13th of April 15 fucking days of relax and getting ready for this one game. if they are no super fresh and energetic for this one than Postecoglou deserves fuck all.

would love nothing more than Spurs getting a draw at least and us beating Forest later. that would put Arteta under immense pressure and then they still have mighty red rags at old toilet who may come through for us like they did vs dippers.

For me if arsenal win Sunday the title will be decided when we play away at Spurs, drop any points there and we won’t win the league, we had a chance to get more goals last night and get it down, obviously the win comes first like against Forest but we really must go for the jugular now, it could come down to goal difference.

One way to look at it is putting remaining games into an Acca and see what odds you'd get to win all games remaining. As a mix of real odds and guessed odds for Arsenal you'd get;

Spurs away 1.85, Bournemouth Home 1.4, Rags away 1.75, Everton Home 1.35, total odds 3.35 or 47/20 probability 30%

For City you'd get

Forest Away 1.32, Wolves home 1.3, Fulham away 1.5, Spurs away 1.8, West Ham Home 1.4, total total odds 3.32 or 58/25 probability 32%

So neither side are likely to win all remaining games, in fact the odds are similar for both to do it but crucially City have an effective 2 point buffer so statistically City should win the PL by 2 points.

Dont know why but have a nagging feeling Manure beat Arsenal. Just a slight hunch.

Arsenal won't crumble & capitulate like Liverpool have.
I think we'll need to win every game & i think we will

Suppose that Arsenal have a 60% chance to win vs Spurs and a 80% chance to win vs United. (Bookies give them a lower chance to win those two games, but let's be more pessimistic than them.) That would mean that the chance for two wins at Spurs and United is lower than 50%. Sure, they can win there but it's more likely that they drop points than not.

Personally, I think they'll drop points in one or even two of the remaining games.

I think the Aston Villa game says differently to be honest, It's actually disappointing that they aren't at home to Tottenham this weekend instead of being away as crazy as it sounds.

They done the same last year blowing it with home games getting battered by Brighton, This season they got torn apart by Aston Villa, The pressure is on the massively at home and the longer the games go 0-0 the fans get impatient and the players panic.

I don't think they'll crumble to the extent Liverpool have, The game against Tottenham is the make or break game for them. If they fail to win it could be curtains.

According to the bookies Arsenal and City will drop the same amount of points in their remaining games which would mean City win by 2 points.

I'd be surprised if it did for us to win it, but you can't rule it out completely. Disregarding the various "level on points" permutations for a moment, we would have to overhaul the current GD plus the remaining games. That's a lot of goals.

If you watched the Villa game Arsenal missed a hatful of chances early on and then the pressure built. Arsenal are a team that needs to score early at home to calm them down. Away is different but Arsenal have shown a few times this season that they run out of attacking ideas when needing to chase a game and just peter out.

We should calmly play our game and preserve energy when the game is comfortably won. Chasing goal difference because we are terrified of dropping points is a psychological suicide in this title race.
