Remember a few years back we were pissing the league but spewed a 2 goal lead to lose 3 2 at home to the rags, this followed a hugely disappointing European exit to the scousers. Had to go to Spurs away with people shitting their pants convinced we were going to blow the title, result a comfortable win, won the league without kicking another ball. Have to say though this feels more like Newcastle away in 2012 a difficult away against a team chasing Europe. We won because we were better, let's do it again tomorrow Blues.

Yeah really.

If I asked if you wanted to start the game tomorrow vs Spurs at 4-0 down would you take it on the chance that we might win 5-4 and deliver one of the greatest City performances and moments of all time?

You should never want your team to suffer on the chance it might make things more exciting because you don’t know what’s around the corner. Arsenal are more than capable of putting 4 or 5 vs Everton meaning we’d have to win 7 or 8 nil against West Ham.

It’s just a bizarre thing to come out with tbh.
No it's not because it could become a reality if we draw tomorrow. Arsenal could put 4 or 5 past Everton but on the other hand they could fall behind and struggle. I would bet on us beating WH by five or six if we had to which might easily be enough.
Personally I believe we will win both games relatively comfortably to claim 4 in a row.

Tomorrow is one of the biggest games since the takeover for me.

We’ve won titles, we’ve won cups, we’ve won Champions Leagues and we’ve won trebles. Teams have done that before though and in most of those instances they do it every single season.

No team in history however has ever won 4 top flight English titles in the men’s game. It would be a truly historic achievement and cement City as being the new pinnacle of English football.

Absolutely whilst carrying the burden of being the biggest cheats in the history of the PL ( allegedy ) with 115 charges hanging over their heads :)

A win or draw for Villa tonight and Champions League qualification is practically over for Spurs by Tuesday night. Might that be a factor in how they approach the game? Who's to say, but it'd be one less motivation for them.

On the other hand it could mean they play without any pressure.

We just have to turn up and do our bit.

It’s not inconceivable that we put 5 past West Ham who have conceded 71 this season and have just 1 win in their last 5 games. It’s also not inconceivable that Everton, unbeaten in 5 and having conceded only 49 this season, keep Arsenal down to just 2.

I’m certainly not wishing it, and a win tomorrow night is the only sensible outcome that any City fan could hope and wish for, but I’m not going to deny that if we were held to a draw at Spurs, and Arsenal were to win on Sunday, then winning the league in those circumstances would be up there with any of the other memories we’ve been lucky enough to acquire over the last 13 years.

That said, I’d still rather we won both!

Everything has gone our way in title matches since the takeover.

I can't shake the feeling that this might be the time when things don't go the way we want them to.

95 minutes.....
I hope City fans are singing
"We love you Tottenham we do,
We love you Tottenham we do "
Hopefully there's a big love in tomorrow night between both sets of fans. But there will still be thousands of Spurs fans rooting for their team, certainly don't think Spurs fans will cheer any City goals or do a Poznan if the chance arises
