I am unusually optimistic about tomorrow and that worries me, strange feeling.
In my heart of heart I know you are right .I will have to have my mate Mr G Fiddoch with me to settle me down. You know that won’t happen it’ll go down to the final minutes ..
When we beat Leeds in 91 during their championship run in, we cheered every goal we scored and celebrated hard at the end even though we had given the rags a great shot at the title. Of course Spurs fans will cheer there team tomorrow, but if we win they will be delighted if we keep the title out of Arsenal's hands. I have to confess part of me couldn't help being happy the rags lost yesterday.Hopefully there's a big love in tomorrow night between both sets of fans. But there will still be thousands of Spurs fans rooting for their team, certainly don't think Spurs fans will cheer any City goals or do a Poznan if the chance arises
Especially if we beat Sours 16-0!What would also be a great memory would be to be the first team in English football history to win the league 4 times in a row by winning our last two games by a combined total of 17-0.
No, we’re all just riffing while we count the hours down to tomorrow night!I took your post that disagreed with mine saying I wouldn't wish it, as at least partly being open to wanting it. Glad to read otherwise though. Not that I think you have the ability to wish it to reality of course.
One reason why I wouldn't get a tattoo. The nerves are starting to get through to me...

Same thing when we won at Blackburn (after going two goals behind) in 1995 and it looked like we'd given the rags a big boost in that title race. When we beat Leeds in 91 during their championship run in, we cheered every goal we scored and celebrated hard at the end even though we had given the rags a great shot at the title. The Leeds game was 1992, not 91.
Yes that's correct - it was a bit of a double edged sword. That was the last season when the PL had 22 teams - four were relegated so that run-in was a particularly stressful time for those close to the foot of the table. The win at Blackburn pretty much guaranteed our survival and it didn't matter that we only picked up two points from our last four games. We needed the points against Blackburn if I remember rightly as we were fighting relegation.
Pretty sure Curle equalised with a pen, we then went behind again before scoring twice to win 3-2Same thing when we won at Blackburn (after going two goals behind) in 1995 and it looked like we'd given the rags a big boost in that title race.

I was convinced we went two down but I just checked and you're correct. Curle equalised and Colin Henry put Blackburn 2-1 ahead.Pretty sure Curle equalised with a pen, we then went behind again before scoring twice to win 3-2
Tbh im not even sure why we are even turning up tomorrow nite apparently it matters not a jot that we have won the last 7, that we have the pls top scorer, the pls top assist maker, the current fwa poty, that we have won the last 3 pls and a treble, apparently the whole result is predicated on whether spurs fancy turning up or not
Everton are probably 2 levels better (certainly on the defensive end) than the shit Scum team they struggled with on Sun. I can see a scrappy 1 goal victory for Arsenal (and a draw is not out of the question) in which case we win 4-0 or 5-1 we are done. Not easy - but it's not as far-fetched as some are suggestingI don't think we can win on GD. Even if we win 8-0 against West Ham, and someone remind me when is the last time we won a PL game 8-0, "only" 4-0 would be sufficient for Arsenal against Everton, a team playing for nothing pretty much, at this point.
The way we played that half was better even than Madrid in last year's semi. Scousers were absolutely blown away and it required 14 of them to stop us.There's a small part of me that really wants a draw tomorrow.
That ferocious first half against Liverpool in the Champions League, where we attempting to come back from 3-0, was probably the nearest we've seen to Pep letting loose, and I'd love to see it again.
Final day, none of this 'trust the process', or 'a thousand million passes'.
Pep look every player in the eye moments before the match. Turns away. Stops, then looks back.
"UNLEASH HELL!"
