Where did he say this, please?
Interview after title. Said he has 1 more season and then will sit down and have a chat with the club. Vibes very much in the stay camp. Nothing groundbreaking and he did say that after last year he though it was job done.

The presenters picked up on it and said the rest will be crying if he stays a few more years.

Where did he say this, please?
After the match, interviewed with Sky. It was a bit of a mixed bag, with his usual wait and see restrain. There was a hint it could go the other way too, but all will become clear through discussions with the club and how the players respond to him.

Can be read any way you want to really, but given the context and the pattern, I took it as a positive. And the sky pundits took it as he's considering extending too.

Ultimately, I think ironically it will be this challenge of Arsenal and Arteta that everyone expects, that will spur him on to decide to stay.

There's been a lot of chat about how Arsenal have been fantastic in their last 18 games (i.e. their games in 2024). But that's deliberately ignoring their 1st game in the 2nd half of the season on New Year's Eve.

And over the last 19 games, City scored more points than Arsenal. 2 more, which was why they didn't win the league

Apart from our first premier win this one is my second favourite one just because coming of age treble and pep the players kept going believed and when Villa beat Arsenal our players new what they had to do win 9 on the bounce wow unbelievable so so proud of these players and pep!

Save for the defeat at Molineux and the aberration at home to Palace, we beat everyone else outside of the top teams, when for most of the season we were concerned that we couldn't beat the top teams. Arsenal lost to West Ham and Fulham in the holiday period and that came back to bite them.

What was all the fuss about and stress over the season LOL

Here’s a run of our results in late November/early December time

Drew away to Chelsea
Drew at home to Liverpool
Drew at home to Spurs
Lost away to Villa
Won away to Luton coming from 1 down
Drew at home to Palace

This is the period that Arsenal and Liverpool failed to win the league in. They didn’t capitalize, Arsenal losing to Fulham and West Ham over Xmas and new year
You give this City a sniff of success and we’ll snatch it off you
We came back from the world club success in a better position

Ps - anyone know if there’s a trophy parade planned for this year

Totally fucking pointless thread. A thousand plus pages of ups and downs and differing viewpoints but everybody knows we always win the title in the end so why bother with it !!

Nah in all seriousness a hugely enjoyable read all season long , well done to all who contributed

Coming off a treble winning season, no Kdb for half a season, this has to be one of the sweetest PL titles.
The fact that we seem so lacklustre in the first half of the season, paired with the run in shows just how mature we are when it comes to winning a trophy let alone a league title.

Well I have to admit I got this one wrong

I've been adamant for a good few months, and have mentioned it in this thread, that we'd win the league by 3 or 4 points

I must admit at times today it looked like it was going to happen, but that late Havertz goal paid to that

Ah well can't get them all right

Champions again

Incorrect, you should have been right. Just watched MOTD and how that twat Oliver allowed Havertz's goal to stand is beyond me. Clearly hits Jesus' arm and those type of incidents are always disallowed.

Of all the times to be called over to review your decision and stick by it it was then. Would have been raging if that had cost us the title. Fortunately we are able to count on ourselves.
