Kind of goes to show that any competent manager will get results with a decent set of players.

It’s always all about the players. Pep maybe would get a shit team higher than other managers but he wouldn’t win the title with Ipswich. Just as a shit manager still wouldn’t get City or Liverpool relegated.

Our problem now is too many of our better players are injured and others too old. We can’t keep winning without seriously strengthening midfield with some pace and energy, two quick full backs and another striker to help Haaland and give him a break sometimes.

I disagree with that. Arsenal knew what they were doing. Same if we had played Liverpool first.

Havertz yes.. but that was not where he got injured. Partey on the other hand, no chance was completely innocuous and just bad luck.
