How many points to win the league?

I'm not sure this approach would have lasted for 15 months to be honest. Arsenal fans aren't huge Liverpool fans (the reason is Heysel, the constant victim stance, the booing of the national anthem, the violence of their supporters) and there would be no need to 'pretend' to dislike Liverpool to supposedly get in with City fans and if so, what would the point be anyway? Like why would someone go through that charade for 15 months? Surely they'd do it for a month or so and then the mask would fall and they'd start a drunken rant bleating about the stuff some opposition fans chant at City and which I don't need to go into here.

Anyway the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned - I just thought it was weird someone basically copying my username and then starting to stalk me. Water off a duck's back but just make sure when the veneer of 'friendliness' inevitably fades after City get their shit together and start to reel Liverpool in then when he goes off on one just don't confuse his username with mine and mistakenly think I said it.

You've been here 15 months, fucking hell pal.

Your mask has indeed slipped a few times and you well know it.

But all good no issue with most of your poats, if I agree I will and if I don't I'll equally engage, if it is worth it.

Yes, tears and tantrums. Some of it is, quite frankly, pathetic and void of any kind of knowledge of what we have done time and time again.
Not as pathetic as delusion. Sound, we are alright guys, 4 years ago we came from behind to win a very strange covid league. Our problems are solved.

Let’s just remember this before the tears and tantrums ruin the lives of some on here. And yes, I’m aware of the game in hand

Different team and totally different set of circumstances. That team went on an insane run which they were capable whereas the team now with Rodri and others out are not even at the races . I really get your optimism and would love you to be right but I can’t see it mate and I’m now looking forward to seeing pep rebuild this team .

It’s just about faith, optimism and what we’ve seen his teams do. All the pundits are saying anyone would be foolish to write us off now. It’s November, the season is only a third in.

I said 'may' wish to move. At the end of the day players want to win trophies and you can't say there's zero chance. Heck, Edu was onto a good thing and has just fucked off to join Marinakis so nothing is guaranteed and it's a short career.
Cold hard truth. Salary is what grabs players attention. Edu's wages ere tripled at Forrest, that's why he left.

So by that definition it's not impossible Odegaard leaves. If someone like City offer £130m plus £400k+ a week wages surely his head would get turned. They must surely be looking at him given KDBs best days are seemingly behind him.

Were paying Saka 300k a week. We could offer 400k to Odegaard if needed, FFS we did it with Aubamayang & Ozil got 350k in his last contract - this was a few years ago to before the continued inflationary spiral in wages. Thats why im optimistic about Saliba extending. Because no, I dont think Real Madrid can blow us out the water for wages. We are one of the richest clubs in the world with very wealthy owners. Your talking like we are Fulham or Crystal Palace. If Man City offer 130m for Odegaard, its a hard no.

Selling your best players to 'reinvest' is a losing strategy. Barcelona proved this when they sold Neymar and reinvested in Dembele. There are exceptions, such as Liverpool selling Coutinho, but I dont think Coutinho was ever a proper top player.
