Ha that's gold!
Not as pathetic as delusion. Sound, we are alright guys, 4 years ago we came from behind to win a very strange covid league. Our problems are solved.Yes, tears and tantrums. Some of it is, quite frankly, pathetic and void of any kind of knowledge of what we have done time and time again.
Yeah, because that’s exactly what I was saying ffs.Not as pathetic as delusion. Sound, we are alright guys, 4 years ago we came from behind to win a very strange covid league. Our problems are solved.
Different team and totally different set of circumstances. That team went on an insane run which they were capable whereas the team now with Rodri and others out are not even at the races . I really get your optimism and would love you to be right but I can’t see it mate and I’m now looking forward to seeing pep rebuild this team .Let’s just remember this before the tears and tantrums ruin the lives of some on here. And yes, I’m aware of the game in hand

It’s just about faith, optimism and what we’ve seen his teams do. All the pundits are saying anyone would be foolish to write us off now. It’s November, the season is only a third in.Different team and totally different set of circumstances. Cold hard truth. Salary is what grabs players attention. Edu's wages ere tripled at Forrest, that's why he left.I said 'may' wish to move. At the end of the day players want to win trophies and you can't say there's zero chance. Heck, Edu was onto a good thing and has just fucked off to join Marinakis so nothing is guaranteed and it's a short career.
So by that definition it's not impossible Odegaard leaves. If someone like City offer £130m plus £400k+ a week wages surely his head would get turned. They must surely be looking at him given KDBs best days are seemingly behind him.Cold hard truth. Salary is what grabs players attention. Edu's wages ere tripled at Forrest, that's why he left.
Were paying Saka 300k a week. We could offer 400k to Odegaard if needed, FFS we did it with Aubamayang & Ozil got 350k in his last contract - this was a few years ago to before the continued inflationary spiral in wages. Thats why im optimistic about Saliba extending. Because no, I dont think Real Madrid can blow us out the water for wages. We are one of the richest clubs in the world with very wealthy owners. Your talking like we are Fulham or Crystal Palace. If Man City offer 130m for Odegaard, its a hard no.So by that definition it's not impossible Odegaard leaves. Selling your best players to 'reinvest' is a losing strategy. Barcelona proved this when they sold Neymar and reinvested in Dembele. There are exceptions, such as Liverpool selling Coutinho, but I dont think Coutinho was ever a proper top player.
I think more City fans write off City, than fans of other teams. Fans of other teams seem to have been badly scarred by our huge winning streaks.Let’s just remember this before the tears and tantrums ruin the lives of some on here. And yes, I’m aware of the game in hand

This season we look frail, but I am in no way ruling out a good push in the new year, we've just got to make sure the gap doesn't get out of hand.
At the moment they would need 4 games in hand to have a chance of doing that ;) lets hope pep cobbles together an actual midfield this evening and we don't make it 6.Don't think anyone is expecting Liverpool to lose 4 more games than us the rest of the season, at this point.
But then I wasn't in the slightest expecting us to lose 3 league games in a row either, and I probably could have got good odds on that.
Coutinho was comfortably Liverpools best player at the time of his departure. And this included a team that at the time still had the likes of Salah, Firmino & Mane. Those 3 to their credit all went up another level in time but there is a reason Barca paid what they did. Unfortunately for him he reached his peak at liverpool and gradually got worse as his career continued. Were paying Saka 300k a week.
