How many points to win the league?

The only team that could overturn this points defecit is us from the last few years, and we aren’t doing it

At least it will shut the rags up when their 20 isn’t special any more

Yeah. Honestly its been a great run. An unbelievable ride that we all knew deep down had to end at some point. I think too that this might be a case of, perhaps the hunger is gone from the lads. They've won so much that to meet that standard every year is quite challenging. But we have done what no other team has done and that's a credit to our players and Pep. To win 4 in a row was unprecedented.

That being said - the manner in which we are losing is difficult to watch. I think we all know why we are not on it right now. Rodri is an absolute gem and we miss him. We have no other player to step in and do what he does. And its painful to see Gundo, Lewis and Bernardo try and hold the middle. There is no physical presence like Rodri back there. I think we win against Forest. But let's not kid ourselves that we are in the PL title race. That definitively ended today. We had a great run. CTID. Let's back the players and the coach and support them best we can!

We have, no question. Like you say, all good things come to an end and this looks very much like it is coming to the end.

Top four is absolutely vital though and by no means guaranteed the way we are going.

I have to say I’m not overly confident of beating Forest either to be honest. This system is not working yet Pep just preserves with it. Doku has to start.

A lot of sense spoken. I cannot give up on the title just yet but it seems highly unlikely now. I'd be stunned if the Scousers kept this up but if they do so be it. I just don't see our team making the turnaround to challenge though with how we're playing right now.
 
I think top 4 and a good run in the cups will do, the pressure is off now and we need to get back to playing football and get some results to build some confidence.

Our goal difference is exactly the same as Forest, 2 behind Brighton and we're miles off the top 3.

This isn't a title winning season.
