How many points to win the league?

If we sign a high quality DM in January we probably have a small chance, but we won't get more points than the dippers with the current playing squad.

huh, i didnt spot that. Did they not even VAR it? ive seen a replay and it looks suspect at the very least
Absolutely blatant with intent to do physical harm...

VAR supposedly cleared it from being violent conduct somehow. Newcastle should have had a penalty also for a foul on Isak by Quansah.

I know. But I know also that Yaya or Silva didn't miss the entire 11/12 season due to a bad injury. If we managed to win the title after being 9 pts off the top and without Rodri for, say, 4/5 of the season, then that would be very, very special indeed.

Agrered, but I'd say the more relevant takeaway from those three seasons, is that Arsenal dropped 8 pts in 3 games, United 8 pts across 4 games, and Liverpool 8pts in a 6 game stretch. And all those seasons had more games left than we have today.

Things change, and they can do so very quickly. It's as common for a team to have a bad couple of weeks, and lose a lead, that it is for them to get one and hold on to it easily.

I think it also helps that Chelsea and Arsenal are looking good - and the pics I posted apply just as much to their chances this season.

This is the counter we had at the end, and this is where the ball was when the referee blew for full time.
For what it’s worth, play was stopped for at least 1 minute in injury time, so the time should have been added as well.
That's utterly disgraceful mate. No way if Liverpool were attacking would the ref have blown for full-time

Was saying this last night - the more teams who are in with a shout of chasing them down, the better IMO
