Which, given how much the media used to wank into a frenzy about Liverpool repeatedly finishing second - ‘second is the new first’ - this is clearly better than winning the PL.

A Newcastle draw with Forest tomorrow and regardless of our result that's not a bad weekend! I've said a few times, it's a tough run for us our opposition are all inconsistent and there are a number of teams all much higher than they'd expect to be and likely to falter under pressure in the run in.

Qualifying for the CL will not be an issue. Hopefully we can win the FA Cup and we are in with a great chance of doing so. Add the CWC, which might not be respected here yet, but will grow and grow in stature over the next decade and that's a damn good season.

Even if we dont win tomoz it wont be a disaster as things get a bit easier with no CL games from now on.

We’ve had a shite season but the teams around us are no fucking good. I think we will be comfortable in 3rd, if not pushing for 2nd by the end of the season.

That’s the great thing about a top 4 race.

As City fans, we’ve spent the last six years needing to go on 10-18 match winning runs to win a title race and nothing mentally some City fans forget that we don’t need anything like that level to actually finish in a CL place.
