Sadly you might be right. Defeat at the hands of the rags and I will be joining you as that will prove beyond reasonable doubt that we simply are not good enough.
 
I’m not sure it is still in our hands. Newcastle run in and game in hand looks to me like they will get 4th the way it’s been going. Esp with the trophy bounce. Normal fixtures that I’d be thinking a safe three points now look hard games as more players fall away injured and we have a work in progress team out there trying to play the complex tactics from before. Sunday is so important for all sorts of reasons. Three points essential. Come on City!

Agreed but I think we will be better than 7th! Should pip Chelsea and then it’s down to the six pointer verses Villa. Teams that were in amongst it have falling away like Bournemouth so not everyone will keep it up. We just have to! 5th by the looks of it.

Chelsea are shit, probably worse than us.

They've got some brutal games and will drop more points than us in the remaining games.

Newcastle also have tough games but are probably more likely to finish above us than Chelsea.

Personally, I think it'll be us and Newcastle that finish above Chelsea, but what do I know!

We can't score goals and we can't stop them. We're finishing 7th. At best

You've forgotten all about Villa for starters and our game against them might well decide our fate.
 
its gonna be brutal close. sadly City will drop enough points too.

beating these horrible rags would be great but we could even beat them at home. would say its likely a draw.
Chelsea might win their next two games which sets them up nicely but their fixtures becomes rather hard after that.
same for Newcastle they also have a game in hand dont forget. they will beat Leicester next and then rags at home too and possibly the postponed game vs Palace too. but if they mess up any of these that can be costly.

also quite a few games still between these sides, we play Villa and Brighton, Villa is hosting Forest this weekend, Chelsea still to play Forest away and Newcastle away. these games will largely decide it. and some of them still play vs Arse or dippers too.

Forest obviously brutally close to CL imo its about 65 points that will be enough for 5th and Forest is just 8 points away from that. can they do 8 points from their last 24? would be a surprise now if they couldnt. they will finish even above 5th possibly.

We’re always involved in the best races. This time it’s for Top5, rather than the title.

But with the league title and relegation places all but sewn up; we have a great race for the CL spots.

Good, exciting end to the season this!
