We can win any and all of those games. It's entirely dependent on the setup. We try and play how we have done the last 4 years, you get a battering like tonight. Our strengths back then are now our weaknesses. we have different strengths though, if we try and actually play to them, we will win games.

Sadly, Pep has made it fairly clear that he's going to continue to force the old style, he's refused to change all season even when humiliating defeats have screamed for a change, you'd hope he would finally do it but it's not going to happen is it.

Did you see Pep tonight in the press conference or are you WILFULLY BLIND??

He's close to having an aneurysm burst with what the players are putting him through at the moment!

I'm not embarrassed because I can see 20/20 fine unlike some who are deluded in their visions of grandeur.

Fuck off you mad arse. We all know we aren't playing well. We all know that big changes are needed with the squad.

Those changes have started to happen already and will continue in the Summer.

Do you think you're some sort of Nostradamus who can see what the rest of us can't see?

We can all see it, but we aren't all look at me cunts who need to start a thread about something that's been discussed to death already after every defeat.

Pep’s already admitted he messed up in the summer. No idea why your mentioning Casemiro/Maguire. Bizarre comment!

Its not injuries i am most concerned about. Its about currently having No RB/LB/DM or back up for Haaland after letting Alvarez go without a replacement in the squad. While buying 3 inexperienced Centre Backs. Granted we should have Marmoush soon ish. However, we have made so many errors the last few years around recruiting, questions need to be asked. Throwing 3 inexperienced Centre Halfs into this shit show will only end one way most likely.

The game has changed greatly in the last couple of years.

Now youth, pace and athleticism and technique are required and we are lacking in most of those.

But we have seen with the January recruitment that we are addressing those issues, far too late but we have acknowledged our errors and the rebuild has begun.

How long will it take? Who knows, depends upon how quickly the young players settle and perform and who are major targets will be in the summer window but I have no doubt the club will do what is required.

One thing a lot of our fan base needs to address, their obsession with what players HAVE done and not what they are doing today in the future, time stops for no player.

Just a bit of frustration for me this morning rather than anger. Yes we were shit but it's been pretty much most of this season. Just try something different. Grealish and O'Reilly in the middle or O'reilly at full back as he did versus Salford. I would put Grealish in the middle with Kovacic and Bernardo on Saturday.

What a lot of our fan base need to address is having some gratitude for the success we have had, some humility to accept that success isn't a god given right, and buckle down to supporting the team and club through what is going to be a difficult few years. That doesn't mean never complaining or pointing out our shortcomings, but this level of hysteria does our club a disservice. Our fan base is better than this.

And yes, the leadership team that has brought this club unprecedented success doesn't yet have all the answers. Big deal. Clubs' success waxes and wanes. It's sport. That jeopardy is what makes it worth doing and worth watching. We'll be back.
 
Hard to see us winning many games between now and the end of February.
Can’t see us making top 4 as it stands. Maybe if we still bring 1 or 2 in.

Very well said. Absolutely spot on.
 
We should take a look at Casemiro till the end of the season. He’d inject a bit of pace into our midfield
