Tolmie I love your positivity man but it's time to face facts..

We need a better midfield than one that has 4 wins in the last 19:

1 midfielder isn't going to magically change things.. we need FIVE to phase out aging KDB/ Gundo/ Bernardo/ Kova/ Stones or Akanji..

The first step to fixing the problem is realizing we have a problem.. sadly if the news is correct.. we are not even realizing it.

But I realize it's not football manager.. however 2 midfielders would at least be a start.

Other than Liverpool, every team is taking points of each other and dropping points. We are only 6 points behind Arsenal! It's perfectly possible this time next month we are 2nd!

Liverpool are going to win the league this season, I've accepted that. They are running away with it and I doubt anyone - even us in our prime could make up a 12-15 point difference, plus GD as an extra point as well. Fair play to Slot and without question, the best team always wins the league.

I think we will get top 4, I don't see Forest lasting the distance to be honest. Chelsea will play like PSG against us then lose to Brentford and that's how the league is this year. I think we will win enough games to be there or there abouts for the top 2.

Really, we have a fairly simple problem - stop conceding goals. I know that sounds a but obvious, but I'd be more worried if we couldn't score them. We can score goals and I think Marmoush/Haaland/Foden/etc will be too much for any team. Our biggest problem is the midfield, it's fucking rubbish and I'm sure that Pep knows that. If we don't bring in a midfielder then we can at least play with a back 5 or something!

I'd be amazed if we don't see more of McAtee and O'Reilly. I think we will also bring in a midfielder as well - probably Luiz.In all honesty, we're not winning the CL, PL etc so all we need is someone COMPETENT in front of the defence and we'll be set till Rodri comes back in. If Luiz isn't the man, and I think he would do a great job for us, I'm sure there's someone in Europe who will be a great loan signing for a few months.
 
We can get by these next fixtures with a couple of defeats, as long as we take three points from Chelsea, Newcastle and Forest, which is a tough ask. If we’re five points behind come the start of March, I’d back us to finish 4th. As it stands, the prem currently have UEFA’s extra champions league spot so top five will do.
 
I put £1 on us to win it a couple of months ago at 33/1 and I’m being offered £1.33 cash out.
The bookies are worried.City are back.

Top 4 is absolutely doable.

Liverpool have already won it, unless they have a meltdown of epic proportions, even for them!
 
I'm still not sure because our midfield gives us major problems against most teams but not today against Chelsea. Don't want it to be a one off.

But things are looking better as we're on 41 points.

15 games left (45 points left to play for). I think if we get 70 points or so, that should do it.

BTW it's funny how we have trouble protecting leads and feel under the cosh.. so we gifted the lead to Chelsea after 2 minutes and made them feel under the cosh.

No more fear of giving up leads when you don't have them!

Apparently that's the way to do it!!!!

Really big weekend for us

Chelsea were in the title race not too long ago and now they're falling and falling fast, they've lost their momentum nad are starting to look like the team of last year

Forrest were not gonna keep this up, and they got FUCKED by Bournemouth, think this is the start of their fall off and also don't see Bournemouth maintaining this form

Newcastle are a threat as Isak is unplayable at the moment

Think we'll get it, especially given we are slowly getting some results (4W-2D-0L in our last 6)

We be different after next weeks games because Arsenal won't be so kind as Chelsea they will go for the jugular I'd take a draw now but can see a 3-1 to Arsenal
 
I think we have a big chance now we have started creating chances
The more direct approach Is working
Can’t play keep ball when we can’t control it or defend it
But we can score goals with Haaland, kdb, marmoush and foden
