Why do we think we make top 4 ??
We are getting worse & by end of feb confidence will be smashed plus at least 1 or 2 more Injuries with our luck

Do you see 34 year old KDB, 33 year old Gundo and 30 year old Kova that keeps dribbling into opponents, falling down and getting caught upfield DOMINATING a midfield of Jude, Valverde and Tchouameni??

We're gonna get battered by them!

And if you think we're gonna outscore them.. did you look at Marmoush.. he couldn't believe none of our midfielders play a ball up to Haaland or to him.

Having seen the fixtures over the next 6 weeks, I’m less confident!! 5th possibly getting a CL place may save our bacon. Huge 6 pointer against Newcastle coming up!! Newcastle did us a huge favour getting beat this weekend….

and we could have done with dropping out of chumps league really. Madrid could really embarrass us and what little confidence we have will be shrunk to zero
 
Just noticed we have an identical record so far as Newcastle,points,wins etc..all the same.

Agree but the club allowing ego to get in way of being knocked out in group stages. Madrid could put 8-10 past us over 2 games & we could end up with more injuries

Thankfully Newcastle lost. Think we'll have to beat them at home next game to have a chance at top 4. That is a HUGE game.. if we turn it over vs them.. Isak and Gordon will shred us to pieces.

Anyone with any pace- unless we play a traditional flat back four - with proper Centre Halves covering our full backs - were fked end of

I think the Pep situation was mental... Left everything too late to try and plug obvious gaps that ageing players leave us with. Why..well maybe Pep wasn't really in the mood to carry on - which is fair enough BUT the divorce may have triggered the 2year extension - after 30 years he probably splits everything - probably had that sorted then head turned to 2 years of top money without splitting it. Cynical i know - but we have been left high and dry with a squad not suitable to the modern game!! and a manager losing his back room staff sport Director etc...all a real shambles

Why against a side who is gunning for us from min 1 do we try and pass it out like that in first five mins - take the sting off and play it long and wide for 5 - 10 mins - wheres our master tactician!
Tactics is about reading what might happen and adjusting as well as tikki taka
 
Can’t see us getting many points now at all until after the forest game by which point top 4 will be gone.
 
We actually played well at times and got ourselves back into the game. The young lads did really well, Savinho looked great and we looked back to ourselves in some parts.

However, the reason why we lost and why we're never going to be in a title race is we're our own worse enemy. Phil should never have played that pass into Partey and Stones has to block at least one of the 3-4 they put around him.

Had we not conceded the second then we probably would have gone onto win that game which is how it has usually ended over the years. Instead though we stuffed up, they scored against the run of play and as predicted we then collapsed.

4th or better this year will be an achievement.

We don't deserve anything near top 4 in all honesty - so many inept performances - i mean Spurs beat us by 4 ..and we were at home !!! I mean fkin ell
