Seeing a lot of games against Palace and Fulham in the remaining games for Forest, Chelsea, Villa and Newcastle so hope they can do us some favors from here. Those 4 also have games against each other so this run in could be a blood bath.

I think Chelsea have just helped us out big time. The only way they can keep up now is to take chunks out of Forest and Newcastle along the way.

I always smile when the rags concede goals. But this game has nothing in it for them. The only thing they achieve from winning is helping us in the fight for CL.

Good result. Need put some distance between us and Villa. That game will be our most important of the season. Forest got some very easy games. Newcastle’s are a lot tougher but they’re in good form and encouraged by their Carabao win.

The key thing is this is not an epic battle with the dippers of which we have had a few. This required 8 10 or more wins on the trot. We just need to put enough points on the board to stay in the race. As you say points will be dropped like today and a defeat is unlikely to be fatal. Too many defeats on the other hand!!

Newcastle play Villa, Chelsea, Brighton & Arsenal.
Chelsea have Fulham, Everton, Liverpool, Newcastle, United & Forest.
Forest play Chelsea, Spurs, Brentford and Palace.
Villa have Newcastle, Us, Bournemouth, Fulham, Spurs, United, Palace.

Forest are almost settled at 3rd.
Its between us Chelsea Villa and Newcastle for 2 places.
I feel Chelsea will drop points and Villa have some tough games in the run-in but so do we.
Expecting the oil brothers (Newcastle and City) to take the last two champions league spots.
