Again... why are we assuming none of the other teams around us drop points, and draw when they play eachother? It's just not plausible to have a run of 10 games all go perfectly against us.

If Newcastle and Chelsea tomorrow isn't a draw then the scenario you're proposing already falls over. If Chelsea and Forest isn't a draw then the same. If Forest get beat by Chelsea and Villa draw a single game, then we only need two draws.
 
We have Bournemouth 3 days after the cup final, wouldn'e be surprised if we win the cup, Pep allows the players to get on the piss and we lose the Bournemouth and then fail to qualify for the CL.

I still think one win will do it. But it's going to be nervy.

It is, but this is City. If it was a title race we would rather do it on the last day too. Keep the jeopardy going and make the fans panic. All part of the fun.

But at this moment in time, we aren't 1 point closer.
In your last example, we won't know if the point today was important until after the season ahs ended.
As it stands right now, a draw is the same as a loss.

Mate, we’ve hardly blown it have we? It’s more like we’ve lost a two goal cushion going into the last ten minutes, rather than snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Anyway, it’s no biggie :-)
 
Is what it is. We've also got points with last minute goals against Villa and Everton. Have to beat Bournemouth at home and hopefully that should do it.
