No probably not but by December it was plainly obvious to all who weren't wearing blue tinted specs we were in big trouble. We had a chance to right the ship but slept walked thru most of Jan, until we panicked and bought big at the end of the window, of which most are nowhere near the team right now.
We were so well run for so long but the last 18 months/2 years has been poor, specifically in the transfers both in and out. Huge summer ahead, issues at GK, RB, LB, AM, RM, LW and a back up striker (Marmoush isn't a back up). Plus a lot of dead wood to move on. We wont fix all that that in one window.
No champs league, we can forget Wirtz and things become very challenging.

Agreed. We’re a top level professional football club with 8 centre half's, and zero legitimate fullbacks at the club. Where do you even start with that? Lets hope we nick 5th, if we don't its a disaster!!

If we win today then they’ll be able to hold the celebrations until the end of the season. They’re all very heavily incentivised in their contracts for CL football and most would be seeing a 15-25% pay decrease if we don’t achieve it.
what I didnt calculate with is this weakened sides from Tottenham and rags and guarantee 3 points to whoever they play with. also Liverpool's showing at Chelsea away was brutal shit, that and yesterday game gave Chelsea's horror last few games into quite manageable sadly.
other thing now as I see all teams going to CL or having chance to go to CL got 6 points in two games vs rags.
Forest did it, Barcodes did it, Arse and Chelsea and dippers did it. even fucking Spurs did it. Villa still to play them but beat them at home.
while Pep managed to get 1 point vs them , at home we fucking lost to this shower of shit white away derby recently we refused to have a go at them simply. such a shit...
if we miss out on CL place I put it down to absolute fuck all vs rags in two games. everyone else worthy doing 6 points vs them but us only 1 point. nonsense.
the Bournemouth game will not be easy. morale will be brutal low if we lose to Palace. if we win hope Grealish wont take the squad for drinks and bender. we played last year FA cup as hangover and cost us a lost.

I think Pep will have them in early tomorrow regardless of whether we win and lose. I think the partying for four in a row was the release of four years of unbelievable tension and a bit of cockiness about how easy United would be.

And the old guard, given what they achieved, deserve it imho. Even if they do fail with it one season out of 5,6,7.
Many will disagree, and yes I wouldn't mind one bit if he had put results first. But they do deserve some loyalty and I am happy to show it.

Well, we're are up at the very peak of the elite - it's a long long way down to the ravine occupied by the scum et al.
If they end up in the CL and us in the Thursday cup it'll be hard to bear.
The fact its the top five who now qualifies is a huge gift horse and if we look it in the mouth we have no one to blame but ourselves. That said I would love to win the Europa League to complete the three main euro trophies, so every cloud.

That’s basically the UEFA Full Members cup. UEFA, CL and Cup Winners Cup are the three proper ones.
