So Tuesday is a must-not-lose to keep our fate in our own hands.

When we concede the inevitable first shot sucker punch, its down to the fans to step up and drag us to that vital point.

No excuses.
Or......the team could, just for once, stop teams breaking away, 3 quick balls out from their penalty area and score.

If we win Tuesday then that will do us for top 5,Newcastle Chelsea and Villa will not all win next Sunday so our game at Fulham won't matter.
I wouldn't share your optimism
Chelsea against Forest will be close but the other 2 should win.

It could be argued that it is more important not to lose than win on Tuesday.

If we draw or win it’s still in our hands. If we lose it isn’t.

why?

newcastle in home will win.
viila win easy in old trafford.
chelsea open game vs forrest.

need 4 points.
Going to Forest (one r!) won't be a gimme for Chelsea. And I'm sure the rags won't want to sign off with another home defeat. Agree with you about the Newcastle game, they'll turn Everton over with a minimum of fuss.

If any one of those three don't win, 3 pts against Bournemouth should be enough.

Nope, not at all wrong. I personally sing, clap and shout, so that's my attitude. So if we don't get over the line, who's to blame, the fans for not singing loud enough?
The players and ultimately the coach, no doubt.

But if the crowd just sit on their hands and do nothing, it will be in spite of the atmosphere, not because we all stepped up, played our part and drove the team to the finish line.

I know which one I'd rather have and its not like we're not capable, as has been proved on many an occasion.

Good summary

nothing is guaranteed. Soton and Palace are weaker sides than Bournemouth and Fulham. Pep needs to be tactically spot on. something he is struggling with this season.

fucking Iraola will press us and we wont like that just like we dont like it when teams dont press us but sit back deep.

Tell you now not all them 3 will win, have a treble bet if you think they will.
I don’t think you’d make much money on such a treble bet. Just had a look and Newcastle are 2/5 to win, and the other 2 are evens …
Not saying you’re wrong (I hope you’re right!), just observing bookies seem to think it’s quite likely all 3 of them win.
