The Tottenham Thread 12/13

I am back guys, I have recieved many PM's from Blues asking me to come back.

With the news of Ronaldo wanting to leave Madrid, Surely we are in the front seat as we have this partnershipy thing?

Go get him Levy, Bale and Ronaldo running at fullbacks will make them contemplate suicide.

How many PM from bluemooners have you had asking you to go away? ;)
Seriously though there is no way on earth Ronaldo will go spurs. RM could offer him to spurs for 10 mil and that tw*t Levy would still only offer 5 mil and fr RM to pay half of his wage

You do realise that this partnership will only ever work in RM's favour, don't you? They get to pick your best players (Bale will go next summer if he has a good season), and you get to borrow their worst players so they fetch a fee.

Sounds like it. Someone is trying to give spurs fans a bad name. I see most of us on here are reasonable enough. I think it irks me when people quote a prat from talksport or a Glory Glory. You get bellends everywhere.

That said I think we'll do the quadruple this season and win the champions league next year. England will also win the world cup in two years time!!!!!

We can do the triple

FA Cup
Capital 1 Cup
Europa League

On the basis of Liverpool North End winning one of the above, getting to the Final of another and the semi's of the Europa the Season before then I have seen stranger things happen.

If ever there was a lucky Cup side its Spurs.

Edit: - I dont half post some rubbish on here late at night. Bedtime for me.

I hope there a lot of trophies to win because we will be winning a treble too, and so, apparently, will Liverpool ....

People are aware that Dave the Yid is no more a Spurs fan than I am right? He's a not very convincing parody, most likely by a trolling Arsenal fan.

Many still don't it seems.
I think he is funny as fuck myself as do most who know the score with him.

Dave is boss, I was sad when he announced retirement.

Lizarazu: "Hugo Lloris deserved better than Tottenham. I thought he'd go to a top European club. For me, THFC is not a top European club."

As much as I find this comment amusing, and it's clearly been posted here to take the piss out of our resident Spurs fans, it's also actually true. City are also not a top European club, although given our finances, and our recent trophies, we are certainly in with a shout of being one over the next few seasons. Spurs haven't won a trophy that anyone outside England cares about (i.e. not the Capital One/Carling/Worthless Cup) for 2 decades, and they haven't won a league title for half a century. They can't really argue with Lizarazu's comments here.

there are a lot of stories flying around twitter that lloris is already unhappy with AVB?

must be something to do with him not being first choice, has anyone got a full story?

France manager Didier Deschamps has indicated that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is unhappy with comments made by new club boss Andre Villas-Boas, just four days after his move to White Hart Lane.

Lloris left Lyon for Tottenham in an £8million move on Friday, with the clear intention of taking the number one shirt from Brad Friedel.

With Friedel now 41, it appeared Lloris, 16 years his junior, had been brought in with the idea of replacing the veteran American.

But Friedel responded to his arrival by producing one of the performances of his career against Norwich on Saturday, prompting Villas-Boas to say that Lloris would have a fight on his hands to win a starting spot.

That does not appear to have gone down too well Lloris, who linked up with the national team yesterday.

Speaking at their base in Clairefontaine, Deschamps, in comments reported by L'Equipe, said: "Hugo has not appreciated the statements of his coach.

"I am not going to create a problem that I do not need today.

"But if it were to happen then it would need some consideration.

"I do not want Hugo to find himself in this situation."

Well, that didn't take long .....
