There seems to be a lot of bickering on this forum the last few days, so let's get back to some realistic football chat!

Tottenham for the title 2014/15 season!!

What a shite season it has been. My only hope is Hull and Everton can make it a decent ending. Knowing my luck, Chelsea will win the league, Arsenal win the cup, Spurs avoid Europa then get slung back in winning some random Fair Play Award

If I was Levy, I would do my best to ensure Spurs do not qualify for the Europa. Look at how a lack of European football has benefitted Liverpool.

Surely that's what he's done by picking Sherwood as manager?

Anyway with Van Gaal at the helm and us not playing in the Europa league we're gonna win the title next season! ;)

That's the spirit! Throw a couple of domestic cups in there too

If I was Levy, I would do my best to ensure Spurs do not qualify for the Europa. Look at how a lack of European football has benefitted Liverpool.

Anyway with Van Gaal at the helm and us not playing in the Europa league we're gonna win the title next season! ;)

If Levy commited to bringing in a couple top players to suit your new managers style instead of a bunch of bargins I think you'd make the top four, there is a lot of quality in your team it's just you don't seem to have a unified system for them (at least to an onlooker it appears this way). I'm surprised Mancini isn't mentioned more for you guys, I think he'd be perfect for you and damn do I want to see his lovely hair again.

There is a lot of shite in our team too. I think I mentioned a previous post mate, I'll have to hunt it out

We did spend big on Soldado and Lamela, that's almost 60m pounds worth. They have been the biggest flops so far but I'd give them both one more season personally.

I think we'll be seeing bids for Lloris and Vertonghen in the summer, I think Jan will be on his way.

Levy should have got 7m for Rose, he'll be lucky to get a pack of polos for him now

In their positions I'd say their both some of the best in the league they'll be a big loss for ya. I still think if you (levy) finally get behind a decent manager and buy players to his style you'll have a very capable team, certainly going to be a really interesting summer for you lot.

I agree here, I'm sure it's cost us a few points every season, that's not all our downfall though. Don't get me wrong I'd love to win a medal but it's something like 19 games to win the whole thing and a purse of a couple of a million. I bet the league cup gets something close to that!

There's a CL place for the winner as of next season isn't there? That makes the purse significant;y higher.

About 3m for the League Cup.

The Europa requires a substantial committment though. I don't know exactly but it must be around 15/17 games to win it. Saying that, I think it is a good move by UEFA to offer such an incentive
