The Tottenham Thread 13/14 (continued)

Never, ever forget that, along with United, Arse and Liverpool, Spurs were one of the signatories to the infamous Arsenal FFP letter. Quite why, I'm not sure but it shows their desire to f*ck us over. Whilst I have some sympathy with their fans, I've not heard one condemn the club's stance.

You can be sure the feeling would never be reciprocated, they are a bunch of cunts.

Turkeys that voted for Christmas. They spunked the Bale money on average players and will forever struggle to even reach 6th place now.

Seen that article in the Daily Mail today about Lamela.

One thing's for sure, Tottenham have got one hell of a player next season if they can get him firing.

That one? Interesting read. I had wondered what happened to him as there were loads of rumours what was going on. Shame he's not going to the world cup

Is it just me or has Sherwood been treated quite bad by Levy with constant speculation from managers claiming Spurs have been in touch and players agents telling him players have heard he wont be here next season

I think every man and his dog knew Sherwood wouldn't be manager come the start of the new season.

I'm not sure if that daft idea by the FA is going ahead (couldn't be arsed to read) with the B teams but he'd probably manage them in a few years. All that wearing the heart on the sleeve is bollocks, it seems fake to me as if he's trying to appease the fans for being a gooner.

It's a shame LVG is going to United, but like England the Spurs job is a poisoned chalice

apparently sherwood asked a fan to sit in dugout today and when media asked him jokingly after the match if he could get the job permanently, sherwood said 'no, he's english' lmao
Funny comment, but I don't really agree with the sentiment. Tottenham have given English managers a chance recently. Redknapp probably lost his job due to other reasons such as being unable to send a text message and trying to get the England job. Sherwood just has not been good enough.

Erikson has really been great for them. Some of the bigger clubs must regret not taking a gamble on him. Tottenham still have the makings of a good team and can sell enough players to invest in their defence.

I think we've had as many English gaffers as foreign ones in the last twenty years. I think we can safely say nothing really works! lol

Well done on the title, I actually watched the game and you didn't look troubled one bit all match. Nolan looked like he had a face like a slapped arse!

Yep he's been fantastic, I love the way he always thinks forwards. There is plenty of cash to raise from some deadwood or the ones who aren't good enough.

Let's see if Levy keeps Baldini once he gets in a new gaffer
