The Tottenham Thread 13/14 (continued)

I think it'll be Holloway, nice expansive attacking British manager who'll nod and say yes every time Levy opens his mouth.

I think it will be either Pochettino or de Boer, my thoughts are that it will be Pochettino though due to his experience and proven quality in the Premier League.

I think Spurs will go for someone foreign with some name recognition, Sherwood was never going to be Levy's answer to the question. He needed someone cheap, willing to take the job on a very short term basis with no future security, and who wouldn't want funds right away (as Villas Boas wasted huge amounts of the Bale money on players lacking the ability to make it in the Premier League). Sherwood fit the profile, and it gave him time to assess the situation and feel out his options. It won't be long before he's named a successor, I would have said Klinsmann but he signed a new deal with the USA national side back in December tying him to them until the World Cup in Russia in 4 years time (plus he's married to an American and lives in California so may not be ready to uproot and move to London).

And he probably won't be too expensive to prise away from Southampton.

Poor old Saints. Two best players seemingly off to the rags and dippers, and Spuds possibly sniffing around their manager.

Manchester City; ruining football since 2008.

Pochettino.

Ticks all the boxes in Levy's head; young, foreign, plays good football. Very similar to AVB when he arrived.

I'm sure Pochettino will leave Southampton this summer. Can't really blame him if they are selling the team's best players.

They should of tried to get Mancini when they had 100m to spend he is a trophy winner and gives teams a winning mentality...

My cousin supports this team from his armchair . He even has a Spurs tattoo . Last time I saw him he said City were doing well and this was in 2011 . Anyway Levy reminds me a lot of Peter Swales . A man with a massive ego and no clue in running a football club . You keep sacking your managers Spurs .
