How long before the stadium is built what will hold 60k?

The capacity will be slightly less than 60,000 to allow for better acoustics and matchday experience for the fans.

It should be fully complete for the start of the 2016-17 season, although it will have been in partial use (75% capacity) for the previous season.

Not quite the Olympic Stadium Spurs were so desperate for

Tossers

FYI Spurs were never interested in the least in the Olympic Stadium - but we were interested in the Olympic site.

The plan was to tear the entire athletics stadium down and have a purpose-built football stadium in its place, much like the one we're in the process of constructing now.

Again, that's not true either.

The plans of the bid, were to remove the running track and lower seating tier and have an all seater stadium close to the pitch, the removed parts of the stadium would be used to build a running stadium at another site.

Spurs were very interested in the stadium and site.

Be prepared for 17 bar charts stating otherwise.

Mainly for the excellent transportation links (ever tried getting to/from White Hart Lane on a matchday?).
