...but here you are - our new stadium design on the Olympic site.

So why Stratford when you can build where you already are ?

Mainly for the excellent transportation links (ever tried getting to/from White Hart Lane on a matchday?).

Do you believe everything you read?

I have absolutely no doubt that Daniel Levy expressing an interest to move Tottenham Hotspur to Stratford put the desired amount of pressure on public bodies such as the Borough of Haringey and Transport for London to cough-up the funds for redevelopment projects, which were their responsibility in the first place, but expected Spurs to foot the bill for.

FYI Spurs were never interested in the least in the Olympic Stadium - but we were interested in the Olympic site.

The plan was to tear the entire athletics stadium down and have a purpose-built football stadium in its place, much like the one we're in the process of constructing now.

That is just utter bollocks.
At least he is consistent then.

Once or twice.

In fact, I was a season ticket holder from 1966 to 1982.

Gave it up after Ricky Villa had enough?
i wonder if the traffic in london has changed in the last 31 years

I'm certain it's far worse now than it was back in 1982.

In fact, as I make regular trips to London, I know it is.

I ensure that every time I'm back in England, I take-in a Spurs game or two.
