How do you work that out?

After weeks of speculation Inter reached an agreement for Balotelli's transfer to Manchester City on 12 August 2010 for €29.5 million

On 29 January 2013, A.C. Milan's organising director Umberto Gandini announced that the team had agreed a deal to sign Balotelli from Manchester City on a four-and-a-half year deal rumoured to be worth €20 million plus bonuses and add-ons.

I've checked your link and it says €21.8m, as does the link that is on the citation as posted above.

You are not lying again are you?

...but I much prefer the Crouch one.
You prefer his own goal that clinched our first entry in to the CL? Cheers.

The saying don't argue with an idiot comes to mind here.

Be careful SWP you might feel a need to make mind numbing charts and stats that nobody actually reads.

Did THFC say that our net spend is approx 300 mil?

Bleeding hell, I'd suggest our squad is worth that (and more) so by his own reckoning we're in profit.

Sweet.

Yeah noted. He is a liar mind. But now I know you're on my case I'll be sure to put a smiley next time I tell a home truth. Oh and brilliant repeated use of "fuck", really got the point across. And "lad"? He is older than you.

I am not "on your case" I am on this thread.
a liar he may be I have no idea but what we don't do is let our guard down and let visitors from other clubs think they are treated this way. there are better ways of proving a poster wrong rather than the way your post displayed.
I presumed you are on my case as bilboblue called him the same before my post that you highlighted (the page before) you see.

OK well stick in this thread for the next month or two and then how your patience is with him. Hell, just read the last 20 pages if you've got twenty minutes. I am more than aware of the CoC and how to treat people nicely hence no warnings in 18 months but our Israeli friend would try the patience of a saint.

Firstly he is obsessed with the fact our owners are "Arabs" and he has been banned before for casual racism.

He makes dig after dig about our club, just nice and sly ones, a la
City played very well indeed against a woeful Newcastle side reduced to 10 men.

He uses the dodgy figures, always choosing the ones that make City look like they have paid and inflated price and the reverse for the Spuds.

And he always bemoans our "Arab sugar daddy" as Spurs do things "the right way".

If you believe any of the above to be false or hyperbole, check with squirty and stony who have been ever present in the thread. But as I say, I'll be sure to put a smiley if I call him a wumming lying twat again as I am told that is allowed because it takes the edge off. :-)
Report him then, then ill see it. Bingo.

So are Spurs part of the evil syndicate of clubs ruining football now with the rest of us filthy rich scoundrels? Almost 100m spent so far. For shame. How do you live with yourselves? At least City and ourselves own up to our evilness.

Sold your souls to a billionaire Spuds. You're just like us now. I reckon Southampton should apply for membership too.

I think they could get into the top 4 if they keep Bale. If this spending is contingent on his departure for absurd money, then I think they'll struggle. While they've strengthened their overall squad, they are severely lacking creativity and Bale's productivity will be missed. I only saw highlights against Palace (who were pretty poor) and they really struggled to create clear cut chances at will.

Contrast with City against Newcastle and Chelsea against Hull who both created chance after chance at will. United also managed to create plenty though their general play wasn't exactly imperious. They'll do really well in open games and put up much more of a fight against the top sides in the league, but breaking down a packed and organised defence looks like a problem for them - and unfortunately that is how the majority of the league will set up.

That said, they look better than Arsenal and Liverpool at the moment. Liverpool's ace in the hole is Suarez. I have no idea how Wenger will pull it off this season though. So if a place in the top 4 was ever up for grabs, it's now. I look forward to seeing how Spurs manage to bottle it this time. The other problem they may have to contend with is bringing in too many too quickly. It could take them a while to gel while their main rivals are pretty settled (if not significantly strengthened). But I've probably given them the excuse if it all ends in tears. Their defence is still questionable. Kaboul coming back after being out for a year doesn't convince me. Essien came back from a year's worth of injury and was never the same again.

Football can change very quickly though.

I think Arsenal will beat Fenerbahce, and they'll make a couple of signings too

I agree with your assessment of Spurs. Their midfield looks powerful, but short of creativity

actually when you list all the new spuds it's a bit underwhelming to be honest

summer 1 Sigurdsson. Vertonghen. Dembele. Lloris. Holtby.

Summer 2: Paulinho. Chadli. Soldado. Capoue. Willian.

You missed Clint Dempsey and Zeki Fryers.

I'm just perplexed as to why a Spurs fan would tot up nearly three thousand posts on a City forum, as I would rather soak my bell end in bleach than venture onto their website.
Assuming they have one, of course.
Perhaps they aren't a big enough club.
Apparently they did the double once, but they seldom mention it, being shy and modest types.

Well I run the Football Trivia Question of the Day which takes-up a very large chunk of my posts on here.

Oh... and Spurs were the first British club to win a major European trophy.

And the first British club to win two major European trophies.

All the papers agree you're spending the Bale money.

Still confident he is staying?

If Gareth Bale needed any convincing that Spurs are serious about challenging for the League Title, I don't think the club could have done any more during this summer's transfer window.

Yes, I still think he will stay.

Because that's what players do to reassure the fans IF they are intending to stay.

As I say, all the papers agree you are spreading the Bale money now.

If you as a player don't want to leave you would come out and least say I'm happy settled and don't want to leave, think he is saying nowt is because Levy told him to say nowt also levy will not turn down 80m
