Yes I do not see eye to eye with THFC 6061 however I may / all think better of him if when he logs back on to go through until his last posts as he is missing decent questions. He has a habit of starting something off then watching as the debate rumbles on.

Serious question. Has any one you know or are close to ever suggested you have aspergers or some similar type of PDD (pervasive developmental disorder)?

Maybe it's just how I think, in that there generally has to be reason for all forms of behaviour even at the most extreme ends of the spectrum.

Comparing one managers record with that of another manager at the same club is pretty useless as a measure of their relative skill. It doesn't take into account the quality of the squad at their disposal. Put Roberto Mancini in charge of the squad that took City down to League One, and put Alan Ball in charge of our current squad, and see what their win percentages say. Does any of that give you a clue whether Mancini or Ball are the better manager? Of course not. AVB has a very good record at Spurs, but he should do, he's been given a crap load of money to spend on building a top quality squad, something many other managers before him would have killed for. How many times has he broken the Spurs transfer record in his time there? And by what margins?

Spurs set three new club transfer records this summer:

Paulinho Corinthians, Brazil Jly-13 £17,000,000 (fee equal to David Bentley with the add-ons)
Roberto Soldado Valencia, Spain Aug-13 £25,900,000
Erik Lamela AS Roma, Italy Aug-13 £29,900,000

Since AVB was appointed Tottenham's manager, a total of £165,614,000 was paid on new players.

But during exactly the same period, a total of £177,553,000 was received from players sold-on.

So in fact, AVB has made a profit of a tad under £12m from player trading during his time as Tottenham's manager.

That's hardly "been given a crap load of money to spend", whichever way you look at it.
