Tend to agree, this is one of the better football forums out there, with a pretty active 'General Football' page.
The talk of the title and those targeting it is pretty interesting - City, Chelsea, Utd where all tipped to be the main challengers this year, but a brilliant start to Arsenal's season, and Liverpool picking up points has made it interesting.
I believe this season was always going to be a slight drop for Utd, I just didn't see it going as badly as it is.
As for us (Spurs), I'll be honest (as I've seen people talking about going for the title because of our spending), our target is CL qualification - it has to be really.
We lost our main asset in Bale, and found ourselves with 100 million in our pocket, so yes, whilst we did spend 100 million, we didn't actually spend anything that we didn't make back. The players we have bought are all very young, and not established (Other than Soldado), so absolutely this investment of money is for the future years to come.
All of those younger players we have bought, will improve over the next few years - if we can tie in CL football before then, an absolutely bonus, but lets be realistic for a second, in City and Chelsea, there are two very, very good squads full of established players, both of those teams are in transition as well (of sorts), and should be challenging.
Arsenal - look unreal at the moment, but they have the most settled squad out of everyone, so it's no coincidence that they are playing decent football either.
It's going to be an interesting year this year thats for sure, I'd be over the moon if we did get into the top 4, I'd like to see us give the Europa League a good go as well, but the title won't be decided in 2013, and Arsenal don't really have a difficult game until November, so the league will remain the same until then.
As for teams I dislike - for me personally, it's always been Chelsea - but the main rivalry with Chelsea is a family rivalry (rather than Arsenal, who I actually enjoy watching).
Still, biggest thing I've enjoyed this season so far - the fall of Man Utd, because they do have some of the most arrogant fans, and bearing in mind I'm from Hampshire - there are an awful lot of them who have never experienced mid table position ;-)
