Did you not hear Harry's comments on his upcoming case

"Yeah, the procecution barrister's triffic. He's a great lad and someone I've admired for a long time. If he ever became available, yeah sure I'd love to have him on my side"

I wonder if his defence team are down to the bare bones.

-- Sun Jan 15, 2012 12:29 am --

The only time I ever hear people talking about talksport is when they're bitching about it. If you hate it so much stop listening to it! :)

And is it too much to ask that media outlets cease wanking endlessly about one overrated squad of fornicators. They are NOT playing beautiful football and they are NOT Barca and RM rolled into one. They're good but they think they're great and the media can't wait to masturbate over their every Spud throw-in and back pass and corner.Every single year, this happens and their fans get taken in, only for their team to fade for the want of an adequate squad depth. They need to learn not to listen to the hype. It is mortifying and will end in tears.

I'd say our corners are one of the least masturbation worthy things in premier league, Obertan's forehead is a more promising method of arousal to be honest. Amazing how players with renowned set piece ability come to Spurs and it completely detiorates...

Did you read my post? I said that if these nasty media outlets upset you so much, stop listening to them! I know it is the general thought that Talksport is a very pro spurs station, but every Spurs fan I know fucking hates it.

Bastard Sky are almost as bad at times. Ditto Five Live.

even arry was winging about wolves players time wasting and feining injury in his post match interview

Harry might have mentioned the Wolves players' antics (though I didn't see or hear it) but to be fair to him, he was also, as usual, highly complimentary about the opposition. Harry certainly has his faults when it comes to speaking to the media, but being graceless after losing or dropping points is not generally one of them. I can't think of another top manager who is so often as generous in his praise of the opposition.

As for the game today, I don't think Spurs drew because of pressure or bad form. They simply looked a bit lethargic having played on Weds. It is telling that this was the first time this season that Spurs' first team have played twice in a week and they dropped points.

I don't believe that lethargy was to blame. Three day's rest should be ample.

Wolves defended very solidly and resolutely. Made it as hard as they possibly could for Spurs to break them down.

Neverthless, Spurs played well and had ample opportunities to win the game comfortably. But their finishing was woefully inaccurate. Shooting practice required. Even the shots on target (including Modric's goal) were pretty much straight at Hennessey. That's why Spurs failed to win.

Of course, it didn't help that a couple of bad decisions helped give a two goal swing to Wolves.

Just had a quick look on their forum, and it appears they didn't win today because Wolves are shit.

Wolves were far from shit.

The came to WHL with a game plan and succeeded in coming away with a point.

They did very well indeed.

Two terrible refereeing decisions went against Spurs - the corner they were awarded for their goal should never have been given and Adebayor's goal was not offside, but these things happen in football.

Until FIFA/UEFA wake-up to the fact that we're in the 21st century and still using 19th century technology, there will always be these absurd calls ruining football.

The officials would have needed technology to be sure of getting those two decisions right.

You should have defended the corner, but the Adebayor offside goal was bad "luck".

Heard Harry on Radio 5 this morning. He's off to Marseill today to watch Loic Remy. Also sounds like he's interested in Samba but hasn't made a bid yet. Sounds like he will.

Can someone please explain to me what these media dicks are seeing when they watch Spurs play? There is a bizarre determination fantasise them as a latter day Brazil and then wank stupidly and for hours. Why?

I still find it more strange that you spend so much time observing these media outlets that make you so mad, you owe it to yourself to do something better with your time if it annoys you so much :)

I finfd it even stranger that a tottenham fan spends so much time on a City forum.

I never expected Spurs to drop points against Wolves, however I did expect them to start dropping points in some games. They've been coasting along with no pressure on them, no attention as potential title winners, suddenly people start saying "Spurs are in the title race", "Spurs have a chance of winning this season" and the pressure is now there. Spurs won't win the league, they'll be top 3, maybe even top 2, but they won't win the league.

Poor result but not the end of the world. A loss would have been worse.

We found it hard to break them down. Parker looked way off the pace too.

Maybe Defoe should have come on sooner, but maybe Redknapp is saving his full fitness for the City game as Ade won't be playing.

Why is Ade cup-tied?

coat was on, taxi was booked, plane waiting at ringway, next stop North Korea
