The "bottling" "being cowards" is a bit far-fetched really. We had 3 times as many shots as them, we hit the bar, we had a goal dissallowed and our best 3 players out injured/suspended.

I'm not sure what more we could have done. It was very fucking sloppy at the back and we were punished, but that's what United do

With a pretty decent Defence normally Spurs let themselves down badly with shocking defending for the first two goals and literally give Utd three points. From 2 - 0; the poors man Silva, Modric and Ade and Saha disappeared.

What has really come through today though is the Sky Agenda. With no goals at half time, Souness and Neville really bigged up the Adebayor handball incident as being some sort of game/title changing moment. In real time Tyler and Smith even on the replays showing had it down as Adebayor practically catching the Ball, which I did, even with my Blue tinted specs on.

After half time. Tyler had changed his tune to fall in with Sky's controversial moment doctrine and referred to it on at least three occasions.

Evidence of this agenda was seen last week as well when the ( unfortunately well supported) Racists were celebrating their Draw and toss of a coin win at Wembley - it felt like the programme ran to midnight and they didn't show one of the Spanish games.

The Adebayor handball will be shown over and over tomorrow on Sky.

Spurs had a easy set of games around Xmas. They done well and won them all. I said on here many times about Spurs run that these set of matches is were they will fuck up. Beaten by City away , Rags today , Arsenal last week. Next 3 games in the league dont look too great. Away to Everton , Home to Stoke and Away to Chelsea. I honestly feel Spurs might bottle it completely and drop out of the Top 4 this season. The bottle is gone. Arry is off to England and the players dont seem to be up for it. Same old Spurs this could be the biggest drop from grace in the run in for a long time.

In reality they were missing their best 3 players yet they were still the better team for 44 mins before being hit by a sucker punch. That's football. Moments change games. You can be the better team for 44 mins, and switch off for a second and the game's gone from you.
