Really missed Parker, Bale and VDV today. Not sure how much of a difference it would have made.

We see a lot of the ball first half, but didn't test De Gay enough.

The defending for the first was awful, the second was just schoolboy. If you defend like that you deserve to lose really.

I thought Harry should have changed it up when we went two down, but it just wasn't to be.

Didn't expect anything before the match so I'm not too gutted.

For the netural it's set up perfectly. The top 4 positions are up for grabs and the title is a two horse race

It seems the rags are most Spurs fans 2nd team.

Redknapp doesn't rotate his squad. He might make changes for cup games, but thats about it. It was a big factor in their decline in the second half of last season.

I've noticed that. Spud fans probably see hurting our title chances a silver lining in a 1-3 home raping.

That's why they always seemed like a plastic club to me, too many fans who are part time rag fans. They speak in open awe of a club that regularly fucks them in the ass. Lubing up for any club would make me angry, but for some reason they accept it.

There was a thread on their glory-glory site a short while back where someone asked if they couldn't win the title who they would rather see win it, and you can guess almost to a man who they piped up declaring for in loving, starry-eyed posts about how at least a team with real class and tradition would win it. Goat fuckers.

they are known as the rags of the south for good reason
obviously a lot of empathy between both sets of plastics

One of my work acquaintances is a Spurs fan and he sincerely and completely believes nothing separates them except Spurs have had ill fortune. They truly believe they're basically the same club but one has had lucky breaks.

Oh, and some sort of perfidy on Arsenal's part. Still not clear on that but somehow all their ills are to be blamed on the following: Arsenal, Russian billionaires, Arab billionaires, Arsenal, food poisoning, referees, and Arsenal.

Spuds your team is gutless. Dominating a poor rags team gets you a 3-1 loss. Pathetic. You even bottled it at the etihad.

Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea to fight out 3rd, 4th and 5th.

The sacking of AVB raises the possibility of a CFC comeback, and Arsenal are improving fast.

Harry - Is he really that good

Spuds record against the top teams down to liverpool is Played 11 W3 D3 L 5

This is managing a very good Tottenham side.

When his teams are losing he seems to sit on his chair twitching, looking very negative. I don't see any serious tactical ability to change games when they are going against him.

His record over the years against good teams is just as bad.

Re: Harry - Is he really that good

How dare you question St Harry or Spurs. Both are the very best of the best. Harry is the most successful English manager there has ever been & Spurs are the complete outfit, stability, pace & flair all rolled into one. They'll win everything this year I tell you!

Re: Harry - Is he really that good

he's the most overrated manager out there and no better than big fat Sam. He is the best man for the England job though as the press won't slag him like they do and he's great for the odd soundbite but he is tactically inept!

United just can't defend against a counter-attacking team with real pace.

Could be a classic, tipping Lennon, Bale and Adebayor to tear them a new one.

Would also love to see Walker play and Defoe instead of van der fart

You really should have known better.

If I may interject on Tolmie's behalf; had they had Bale available and had Twitcher picked Defoe to start it could well have been a different result.

I haven't heard any pundit or commentator slamming Twitcher for his inept display yesterday. 3-0 down with 80 mins gone before he made any tactical switches and brought on his best goalscorer, who promptly showed him how to stick the ball away. This for England? Not my choice, never has been. Martin O'Neill should get the job, but he won't even be offered it, and to his credit, probably wouldn't take it anyway.

Maybe the wrong thread, but Arsenal are living on the back of a magnificent Van Persie season
They are truly dreadful at the back and Liverpool cut them apart time after time. Arsenal got a result at Klanfield because Liverpool can't finish, as seen in the "goals for" column

Whether you like it or not Arsenal are improving. They have won 4 on the trot in the League.

Gibbs, Sagna, Oxlade-Chamberlain have given them a lift and they have Wilshere to come back too. They will finish 3rd or 4th

Spuds are going to drop like a stone but i bet the cup has their name on it so a newly successful manager is appointed for Engerland.

Pretty much exactly what I said would happen before the game would happen. Be the better side for the majority of the game and have the obligatory goal chalked off. Our defending was woeful, no excuses. Still, being 4 points clear of fourth at this stage of the season is pretty good. Everyone is being doom and gloom but we're still a lot better off than we were last season. We have Everton coming up (who we have a decent record against), and Stoke who are a shadow of themselves away from home. Grab a win against Everton and we'll get the ball rolling again. Onwards and upwards!
