Listened to talksport this morning and a few Spurs fans pissed right off with dodgy 'Arry. Bad tactics and players played out of position. Hahaha all is not well.

Not sure why he persists with Bale down the right hand side, especially if Lennon is fit, the lad is all left foot.

(disclaimer - I have no idea if Lennon is fit or not, cos I couldnt really give a fuck about Spurs or their twat of a manager :)

Lennon has been in and out of fitness all season, hamstring problems mainly. We look rubbish without him.

As for Bale, the kid thinks he's Ronaldo when in fact he's still a left winger, his drifting about the place just makes everything congested. Ironically Bale on the left and Pienaar on the right yesterday would have probably won that, Bale is shite on the right and Modric invisible out left, just doesn't make any sense. Rather frustrating.

I thought Bale was going to revert to his LB position, didn't Redknapp say so a year or so back?

If he was playing for Barca I reckon he'd end up playing left back a fair bit.

I remember those days when he emerged as being quality, you'd see him steaming up and down the pitch for 90 minutes, a crazy engine on him, he doesn't put the same effort in these days thats for sure. Spends most of it moaning.

Then a scouser (everton fan) came on and spoke total sense (wow I know) regards Spurs. Pretty much said that they arn't going to be above City or United anytime soon so third is as good as it's going to get. Plus that Chelsea, Arsenal and the dippers have been bobbins making it easier for them so what more did they want.

Spurs and Bale looked dangerous when he was on the left at the end of the game

I don't know how many times I said "Where's Bale?". he was very quiet at City too (apart from the goal).

Everton did well. They are experts at preserving a 1-0 lead. Very good time-wasters

nah like their neighbours they're just fcuking wasters....

when spurs lost to us, twitchy was fuming.

When spurs lost to manure, he didn't really looked bothered after the game, just praised the rags and nesbitt

He was fuming yesterday

Why wasn't he when they lost to the rags?

I see why City fans get pissed off with Howard, he can waste 40-50 seconds every time. I'm surprised he didn't get booked sooner.

After the Chelsea game time to try get the season back on track

This will only seem like a wind up attempt but it genuinely isn't, how did our lad Caulker play today against you guys? I did not watch the game. I remember him doing well at the game at your place earlier in the season but Aguero came on and tore it up.

Was it a case of Swansea defending well or your attacking play not being up to scratch?

Can't help but be excited about this kid, 20 years old and has been putting in consistently solid and mature performances for a team with one of the best defensive records, he's really getting a footballing education as opposed to sitting on the bench and playing the odd Europa game like he would have done if he'd have stayed put. Could be a shining example of how going down the leagues to ply your trade makes you a better player for it.

Caulker was absolutely immense. Thought it during the match, think it now. Still a few times when he was dragged out of position by Balo and Aguero, but we were too inept to take advantage of it. For a young lad, he wins A LOT of his 50-50s to be fair. Ledley Kings heir apparent?

Ah cheers mate, good to hear from my point of view.

There have been quiet mutterings for a few years about Caulker being the next in line to the King, but it's a lot of pressure on such a young lads head.

Our CB position is an interesting one, Dawsons spent more time injured than not with serious achilles injuries last season and looks like he's out for the rest of the season, Gallas unfortunately looks like he's finished after proving so many wrong during his time here and King can't realistically have long left without permanently damaging himself.

What I've seen of Caulker makes me think of him as the more controlled and composed ball playing type, the Kompany to the Lescott, the Pique to the Puyol, the Carvalho to the Terry etc etc

Think there is a partnership that could be forged with Kaboul who is more of a blood and guts type which could see us sorted out for a good number of seasons, but we'd also need to bring in someone else, the Ajax lad seems pretty versatile and would get enough games outside of centre back for him to keep on developing as well.

Does he come complete with fookin wheelchair? If our front players couldn´t turn that twat inside out then it´s to our eternal shame

Inept performance to be honest. Yeah we wee the better side, yeah we had more possession, but against the sides that keep 11 men behind the ball nothing matters except goals scored. We didn't really create too much for all the possession we had.

We were playing great with a 4-5-1, all of a sudden we get a couple of midfielders injured and play a 4-4-2 in three of our toughest games of the season and we lost the lot. 'Arry seriously needs to pull his finger out as he has gotten it plainly wrong these past 3 games.

I understand that Lennon (our only right winger, we really should have pushed for Hoilett in jan) has been injured, but just because you have one player injured does not mean that you should have to play 3 players out of position. Bale should have never been on the right, Modric should have never been on the left, and Parker should never have been employed in a more 'creative' role in central midfield.

I appreciate what 'Arry has done for the club, but he has gotten it very wrong in the last few games.

Stoke is now a must win, and we have to get something from Chelsea. If we lose against Stoke then the season really has imploded.

-- Sun Mar 11, 2012 8:30 pm --

Vertonghen is a must buy for us as we don't have a left footed CB. Let Gallas go and bring in Caulker and Vertonghen. King is obviously finished (it has been long overdue, and for him to keep going for as long as he has is incredible), and Kaboul is having a poor run of form, which is a shame because I thought he had had a very good season up to this point. With Dawson out for the foreseeable future i think that a Vertonghen/Caulker/Kaboul CB partnering would be acceptable for next season.

Why wasn't he when they lost to the rags?

this

He was so bitter with the journo yesterday, he was furious after losing here but he was cool with loosing to good ol' United

I bet the Spuds are about as anxious to go to work tomorrow as we were today. Gobby twats.

Spurs will be bricking it now, with the gunners only 1 behind them. A slip back to 4th or even 5th is far from out of the question. Imagine the furore if they only managed 5th, would multiple trophy winner Twitcher be the best thing for England then?
