The true secret of Leicester City's success / doping thread merged

So here's what I've heard, from a different YouTube video.

  1. Testing is really infrequent.
  2. Players are almost never visited at home. Maybe 1 per club per year at the training ground. All the rest are after matches.
  3. The testing isn't the most advanced in what they're looking for. Also it's pee tests and they're the worst.
  4. Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs) are super common.
  5. Microdosing is also very likely, whereby they can push their numbers to the top of the acceptable range.
  6. Players can't exactly be tested when they go away on holiday for the summer.
  7. Bayern are really suspicious. But it's likely everybody is at it.
Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Leicester are the most obvious abusers of PEDs

Nope, you are correct. They are 100% banned. They are on the same list as anabolic steroids.
Cheers

I suspect though,as in certain cases, with medical approval and 'proof' of their requirement.....their may well be an acceptance of their usage.

United too. They physically dominate most opposition.

I wouldn't rule City out tbf. Although it's less likely to be systematic

I am convinced their use is very common, football is no different to any other sport,in fact the prizes are far greater than most and so the rewards far outweigh any risk.
I have seen several players in recent years that scream assistance, others less so,but many probables exist IMO.

I'm not ruling anyone out. City, United, Barcelona, Juventus, Marseille, Arsenal, Netherlands, Russia and many many more have form.
Marseille: 1993 CL final (in addition to match-fixing).
City: Nasri, Kolo Touré, Negouai, Pep (long before City).
United: Fred (before United), Ferdinand, Stam, Phil Jones and Nani.
Juventus: Essentially every player between 1994-1998

There's a very significant chance that everyone is at it.

Other sports (cycling in particular) that lax testing leads to mass abuse. The fact that you never hear of a footballer being ‘found out’ should be ringing alarm bells throughout FIFA and all the other associations.

The other sport that is supposed to be squeaky clean is tennis. Operation Puerto a few years ago raided a clinic in Spain and found lots of files on sportsmen, particularly cycling and tennis; this led to the Festina Cycling Team and others being hammered. The strange thing was that this was a tennis investigation and yet not a single tennis star was brought to book and the LTA hushed it up.

Read any other teams forum and you will find a thread accusing City of being doppers and the miraculous recovery times of our players after getting injured.
Fuck me, we have averaged a season ending cruciate job every season since Pep arrived. If we are doping then we are doing it wrong
