Just watching an old episode of The Chase on Challenge...
Q. something along the lines " which British explorer first mapped New Zealand in the 1700s?
A. Robinson Crusoe!
 
I’ve had people roar with laughter when I’ve said Welsh is spoken in Argentina.

It’s just been an answer on The Chase.
Patagonia welcomed a large influx of Welsh in mid 19th century. They went because they felt their culture and language were under threat from anglicisation.
Welsh still taught in many schools there.
In a few villages Welsh is the predominant language.

It was also a question on House of Games last night too. Sometimes feel that the question setters for the various shows have a get together as it's quite spooky how many times similar questions are asked.
