Just watched an old episode of Who wants to be a millionaire?

The question was "how many goals for England did Gary Lineker score?
The bloke went for 50/50 and it came up 38 or 48.
He then asked to call a friend, who was his son.
He spoke with his son, who said "48".

"How confident are you?" the contestant asked?

"50/50" the son replied!

Fortunately the son was correct and he went with his son's instinct.
