The TV Quiz Show Thread

It's about 3 hours. It's only something like 130 miles but a lot of it going through the islands is single lane each way with traffic lights etc.
If you end up following a few HGV's or even worse a school bus it can take a while before you can overtake.
The scenery between islands is great.
At one point there is a derelict railway bridge running alongside one of the road bridges. In the early 1900's the railway was the only way to get to Key West.
And then there is 7 mile bridge at the far end of the highway.
I've done it twice from Tampa and both times it was 4 hours to Miami and 3 hours to Key West and the same time in reverse

Will think about doing that. We have 3 cruises booked all from Fort Lauderdale.
 
I could literally write a book as a response. There are so many answers that raise yet more questions.

To be brief; our living rooms are not adjoining, I like Stewart and Anne and I still harbour dreams of a larger detached place.

My neighbours are well into their 70's before anyone suggests the blindingly obvious. :-)

I like your style though MP, always have. Perhaps I could draw upon your ingenuity and genius at some point in the future.
Couldn't you just persuade them to sign over the deeds of their house to you before you..erm...relay their patio?

That railway bridge was a story on an episode of ‘abandoned engineering’ - great series

Is it not dangerous driving in reverse?
