Cheers pal it sounds great. It's about 3 hours. It's only something like 130 miles but a lot of it going through the islands is single lane each way with traffic lights etc.
If you end up following a few HGV's or even worse a school bus it can take a while before you can overtake.
The scenery between islands is great.
At one point there is a derelict railway bridge running alongside one of the road bridges. In the early 1900's the railway was the only way to get to Key West.
And then there is 7 mile bridge at the far end of the highway.
I've done it twice from Tampa and both times it was 4 hours to Miami and 3 hours to Key West and the same time in reverse
Oh right, I'm not having a good day at the moment. It's a drive Victor. We're talking about a nice drive, do keep up.
Couldn't you just persuade them to sign over the deeds of their house to you before you..erm...relay their patio?I could literally write a book as a response. There are so many answers that raise yet more questions.
To be brief; our living rooms are not adjoining, I like Stewart and Anne and I still harbour dreams of a larger detached place.
My neighbours are well into their 70's before anyone suggests the blindingly obvious. :-)
I like your style though MP, always have. Perhaps I could draw upon your ingenuity and genius at some point in the future.
That railway bridge was a story on an episode of ‘abandoned engineering’ - great seriesIt's about 3 hours. It's only something like 130 miles but a lot of it going through the islands is single lane each way with traffic lights etc.

But can you have a moronic educator? You can have an educated moron. I deal with them on a daily basis.
Is it not dangerous driving in reverse? It's about 3 hours. It's only something like 130 miles but a lot of it going through the islands is single lane each way with traffic lights etc.
