I'm not surprised by that, I worked in the U S for several years and flying from Washington to Chicago one day the plane seemed to take an age to get to the runway, I turned to the woman sat next to me and said I think were going by road, she said, oh I hope not I've got a meeting at 3 o-clock.

Just after the Dan Air crash from Manchester to Tenerife I was flying to Malta on my first ever flight, I was really nervous. An infant sat behind me said:

“Mummy, is this plane going to heaven?” Her Mum said “I hope not sweetheart” made me and other passengers laugh but knocked my confidence.


I guess the reply these days would be “shut the fuck up you stupid little girl”.

There was a fire in the sink which was exacerbated by the inevitable water pouring. As anecdotes go it's possibly not going to get me on the after dinner circuit but it was the only potassium related story I had in my locker. I feel that I have let you down. ;-(

Agbonlahor “mmmmmmmm, Swansea???”

The parting shot was something “galore” Agbon said “I’ve no idea what galore means”.

When I had my cardiac arrest, my potassium level was 8. Apparently, it should be no higher than 5. The doctor said I was very lucky.
