Yes it's currently a hypothetical scenario, but for God's sake, get real. We have a 76,000 seater stadium on our doorstep, regardless if it's the Rags.(does that realy matter), Yet the FA in their wisdom will force us to travel to Wembley.

Why not give City 50,000 tickets and Bolton 26,000 tickets respectivley for OT. Job done and we don't have to waste time and money trecking down to London.

What was it on today's attendence thread. People are skint, times are hard, too many games, etc, yet people can't see the stupidity of a semi final between City and Bolton being played at Wembley.

I give up.

would you realy want to play it at OT, the mind boggles sorry wembley or villa park

And why wouldn't I want to go to OT for the semi final. Why wouldn't you?

like it or not wembley has been built at considerable cost and s/f's will be held there for the foreseeable future as it allows the fa to recoup/recover monies. the time for complaining about this has long gone. that is the situation, get over it.

I'm fully aware of that. But my thread highlights the stupidity of it. Now let's just say it happens. What will be the outcry from every quarter be.

You've guessed it. Don't forget who said it first. ;-)

When the two sheffield clubs did it in 1993 it was the fans and the clubs who wanted to do it.

Play it at OT i'll piss all over there seats like they did to mine at CC semi's last year,

Not wishing to split hairs or to end up in a tit for tat with you Warpig, but I can see almsot everybody complaining.

Don't be surprised if the MEN, etc jump onboard.

City and Bolton fans forced to trek to Wembley for the semi final.

Personally given the choice, I would rather save myself £50-£100 and a full days traveling, by playing the semi at OT. But as you've stated, the dickheads at the FA will turn a blind eye to common sense.

anyone else think it'd be abit sweet to (hopefully) get through to the final there while they have to watch on as we trash half the stadium while there not even there! think of how much we'd hate it if they were in ours! ;)
