The Waiting List

Me and my Dad have joined the waiting list and we have struggled to get to many matches over the past two or three years due to work and family commitments. So we will be pretty much two new faces there every other week.
 
Looks like the waiting list is north of 4,000 now. When you consider that they have all paid £100 deposit and the list has only been open a couple of months, that's a fantastic response. Going off snippets from the Club it looks likely that the planning application could be available to view from next week. That in itself could act as a further catalyst and generate more interest. Be nice to see the finer details of the expansion. In particular the plans for the North Stand and what's going to be integrated into that stand. Surely the interest is there now for both ends to be done at the same time, might even get some snippets regarding the collar site developments.
 
Here's one for you. My mate, who is on the list, reckons he received a call yesterday asking him would he buy a £299 ticket for next season if he was guaranteed the offer now!

Now as he's new to all this and couldn't get his head around the value gold 'Sit in any seat we decide' concept, whilst also being weary of not getting a elevated seat in the proposed expansion he said he wasn't sure.

Anyone else had a similar call?

Not sure whether it was just market research or a genuine offer myself!
 
Capacity is obviously fixed next season. Therefore there's not much space to add on 4,000 plus seasoncard holders to our existing seasoncard holders. It could be done just about, but I am pretty sure Premier League rules state that clubs have to hold back some seats for match-day supporters.
 
How many from the waiting list is taken in each year? I'm hoping to get mine for 2014 but I'm around the 4000 applicant range.

Have to move to the south by 2015 and a bit gutted at the prospect of extra costs with trains.
 
Looking at the link to the Manchester Council site (page 85 Etihad Campus thread) it would appear that the Planning Meeting
is scheduled for the 13th February with a Determination Deadline of the 17th March. My guess is that we will be get planning
permission granted towards the end of February. With this in mind has anybody registered since the start of the year? If so,
when? and what number were you allocated? I'm thinking that the decision as to whether to go with one or both ends
must be imminent. Thanks in advance for any information you may be able to supply.

People have discussed our fan base a lot and its size... well that's 4,000 in a month or so taking our season ticket total to 40,000 (possibly even more as wasn't it said they added extra season tickets this year to cope with demand?).

Now just imagine tickets were 50% cheaper, just how big could we go stadium-wise?
